    Hi Kim,

I found your site from my fellow Londoner Chris Farrell, who has really excelled with his membership site since starting earlier in the year-mark my words, you are going the same way with this site!!
From my point of view, there is far too much information to absorb at once,so may I suggest that the week is broken up into segments so that 'information overload' doesn't come into play. eg Mon-Tues 'How to' for Newbies
Wed- Thurs 'How to' for Intermediates
Fri -Sat 'How to' for Advanced
    Sunday- Questions and Answers

all in 'bite sized chunks', easy to learn step by step fashion, as I for one-maybe because I'm old and stubborn-refuse to give up on this phenonemen called the 'Internet' all so that I can pass something of value to my family, friends and anyone else who would benefit from this 'new found knowledge'
    Kind Regards Peejaydee

What makes a club unique in my opinion is the power of "earning while getting or improving knowledge."
ex: (let's start first by amortizing expenses associated with the process from the get go: club membership, hosting, aweber, internet connection and other pop-up products or software needed to complete projects)
Most of us don't have the resources to invest especially with economical status in today's society or other unforeseen circumstances.
It is an incentive for students to remain members because the success of the tasks depends on facts.
After all competition is all about the margins.

A complete Step- by- Step Blueprint for students of all levels :newbies, intermediate to advance their potential to the next level (would eliminate any additional Q & A correspondence)

    How to :
monetize by giving away FREE items
monetize by placing banners on other people's websites or even our own
monetize by using or improving our current blogs
create a product (ex: a simple e-book that we can start selling)
practically build a large list of subscribers by sending all of the traffic to a converting Squeeze page & give them bonuses (where do we get these bonuses?) for signing up
    converte customers into buyers
SEM, SEO, Adsense, Traffic / Organic
access ( ex: to a software if they can't purchase it at the beginning) that would give students the opportunity to complete assignments
create basic links, back links, report / thank you page to be able ultimately to copy to aweber
use the right keywords to convert
easier way to submit articles to the directories (ex: software )

Usually i ignore people promoting programs such as this Super Affiliate Club. But the Quality of information and the dedication you show to helping people has made me pay attention.

I believe that people could benefit greatly from learning how to incorporate real world advertising and business marketing and promotion into their online business. We have such great success with this that it is sometihing i do not mention often.

Next running an online business benefits gretly from having a physical sales force which can be in the form of BDM's or telemarketers etc. People could benefit greatly learning how to incorporate these into their business.

I think the most crucial thing is, there must be a way to source and drive quality traffic to a blog or site for a super affiliate, any "work smart ways" are keys to determine how success is a super affiliate, don't you agree?

Inner circle should be a place for the team to meet, discuss, exchange idea and get "healthy" networking or affiliation that suppose to be able to boost up each individual member's blogs or affiliates link earning.

Just honest real help, would be nice. Not some one out to take your money for nothing.

    Hi Kim,

I think A realistic way for the no so good Techies, to Have a good base line to actually go through some installations for C-panel and how to integrate auto-responders.

More specific guide lines if you will, for the implementation
of these components, as far as "the when and the how" they should be put into place.

Another area of concern is how to really set backlinks and RSS feeds the right way, and the pitfalls of not doing it right
    way.

I have seen "Mind Maps" as they have been called, but so far I haven't seen a step by step Layout for the real grunt work of getting a site launched, and have all the components up and working to tie it all together .

I know I have picked up some of the Ready to go sites, only to find out that you have to understand either Html or some other language.

You have given out real useful information, and great content from Day 1. I have been through a few courses online, and paid a lot of money for the so called "Real way to do things", as the Guru's claimed.
I was totally blown away by what you revealed for free, and I can honestly say I learned as much as I did paying big bucks.
Thanks for everything you have revealed, you are truely a breathe of fresh air in the IM world, Ken

As you know this is a loaded queston. Why you ask?
I respond with you stated the program already has KILLER content now. I am not a member therefore I do not know the KILLER content. Therefore, I shall shoot from the hip with the following: Content is good, ie., how to pick a niche, get traffic, do it for free, write copy, etc.But I'll bet now-where do you include the pre-setup. What this means is how do I determine what list holds what client, how to setup a aut responder, how to get the 7 followups formed etc.

End of my response to the opportunity of my being the winning membership as I have just shot from the hip. But I believe it will be the top response.

Thank you for the opportunity to compete.

All in all I think a strong sense of community is vital. I think a place where people can come and ask questions without fear of looking 'stupid.' Weekly chats, Twitter lists, etc...

I also think a 'vault' of sort for tools, and websites would be a great tool. This can be updated by you and the community.

Please, please, please teach concept more than software. I can find out how to use software packages from youtube, but I have no idea WHY something is. Why a good niche is better than another is more important than how the software works.

I would like the knowledge of something rather than the procedure.

ALSO - It seems there is a huge disconnect between new internet marketers and basic 'technical' knowledge of the internet. I think that if new IM's knew the basics of how things worked it would allow them to come up to their own solutions to problems in the future.

I guess what I'm trying to say is to give the information that makes us make our own decisions.

Also an action calendar would be a great motivational idea too...
  • Wow!

I am completely amazed at the feedback you guys and gals have given. This is incredible!

I never imagined this kind of overwhelming response. You guys rock!

The ideas listed here are brilliant. Things I would never have thought of. I have read every one of your comments, taken notes, and look forward to implementing many of them into Super Affiliate Club.

What can I say, you guys rocked the house!

    Thank you all so much.

    Hi Kim,

A little late in the game so I'll try to be brief.

I don't generally assume things, but I'll go out on a limb here.

Just scanning through many redundant comments I would have to guess that most people are not familiar with your
Instant Payday course. (Maybe you could poll that.)

You could include that in the membership as to get the newbie ball rolling. As people go through the course have a separate section to submit questions only on that course.
Let it run for about 3 months or so to give it a fair shot than do a private Q&A or something with those that stick it out.

Than you could do spotlights with the achievers or use them as the case studies.

Most of the topics covered in Instant Payday could easily be singled out and expanded on in monthly segments covering more advanced strategies.

From than on would just be a matter if you are running the show yourself or involving other marketers. Either as monthly guest webinars or posts etc.

Lastly would be if you were adding "Instant Sales" stuff.
Adding PLR Products and the likes.

I think for your membership be better if that was left out.

Just add an affiliate option to your membership for those that need a product to sell.

  • I am quite confident that everything you have planned, Kim, is going to be GREAT (based on what I have seen from you up to now), and I truly look forward to the launch! As far as my suggestions of some super things to include in your “SUPER” Affiliate Club …

    * Success Stories that REALLY explain what someone is doing to make their site/campaign a success

    * Details on what constitutes a really HOT niche

    * More tactics involving keyword research

    * Details of what specifically to focus on when pursuing a new niche

    * Good examples of ads, articles, headlines, etc.

    * YOUR favorite resources … with short explanations as to why

    * “Call-in Days” would be great, and I think it would work much better to have these as SEPARATE, instead of just tagged onto webinars.

    * Did I mention specific, topic-focused webinars? Step-by-step, specific skill building is great for me. But in addition to beginner-oriented topics, I would love to see some intermediate-oriented webinars, too!

    * Finally, ANYTHING having to do with YOUR expertise – TRAFFIC – will be very much appreciated!

    Thanks So Much,

    Kelly

Do a step by step course on making money online. Make it hands on and let us get our hands dirty. Research a niche, pick a product, create a site, drive traffic, build a list, increase conversions.

The beauty of this is that we'll learn how to get over obstacles in our business by watching you start from scratch. Lots of people have buy tons of ebooks and courses, but never make any headway because they don't know how to overcome the (inevitable) challenges in their business.

Like Morpheus told Neo, there is a difference between knowing the path and walking it.

  • The Super Affiliate Club needs to provide concrete answers to the impediments to success by affiliate marketers.
    1. How to choose affiliate products to market
    2. Organic and Paid traffic generation methods that work
    3. How to benchmark traffic generation effectiveness
    4. Presell strategies that work
    5. Pros and cons of Web 2.0 methods

The 'inner circle' I believe should concentrate on advance methods of laser targeted traffic generation, advanced conversion methods, cross-selling, etc.
  • Hi Kim,

I have no doubt it will be excellent, as have been the other products you have produced. I appreciate your willingness to help and be so accessible (I know that is not always easy).

Have listed some of my thoughts (no doubt some will be similar or the same as suggestions from others).

=> Make everything downloadable (very helpful for those with Internet issues)

=> Provide word doc workbooks (not just pdf's)

=> Provide a 'quick' cash system as well as the longer term business building system

=> Include a way to plan our own business, perhaps an outline/q&a (another word doc)

=> Show us how to actually find a profitable niche and more importantly the way to find the keywords we should go for

=> Provide recordings of all live webinars or calls (very helpful for time zone and other commitments)

=> Provide member site hot seats where you can go through and critique their sites (this might be better as a stand alone webinar, as it tends to be difficult to do a thorough job when it is tacked on the end of a training session)

=> It would be great to provide a resource for outsourcing (perhaps as a more advanced level, once members learn to get their system working for themselves)

=> Providing some help with WordPress – not just the basics but how to resolve problems that arrise with editing themes – maybe a special thread in a forum

=> Provide some good suggestions for which wp themes are best to use and perhaps what to look for in a good theme

=> Perhaps provide a specifically designed theme that can be easily adapted to add a squeeze and sales page

=> Provide some excellent quality PLR with instruction on personalizing and using PLR appropriately

=> Step by step to setting up split testing and tracking and how to utilize those stats to improve our results (how to split test squeeze/sales page elements using wordpress – Is there a way to automate it?)

=> If you hold a live event make sure it is recorded for those who cannot attend, and perhaps you can consider holding a few events world wide (UK, Australia), Perhaps you could sell tickets to the live events, but provide members with access,

=> Create an inhouse support group where in an organized, non spammy way we can help to either bookmark or comment on other people's sites (another area of a forum perhaps)

    So that's it for me...

Take care, look forward to seeing the finished product.

    Hi

There are alot of good ideas here. It seems that all of the affiliate programs are the same maybe some not so in depth.

Personally, I like one on one help. I would like to see one on one coaching with follow up email questions.

Alot of people like me, can't afford the high price tag that comes with laying out money up front for personalized one on one coaching. I would be more than happy to share it with the coach as it would come out of profit earned and not up front.

I can't imagine how anyone would have a problem in giving you a % (how much and for how long to be determined by you. maybe for the duration of the program) of the profit. The money could be sent to your company with funds to be distributed via PayPal.

I really want to be successful with this but it works better for me if I have someone helping me through the process. I am more than willing to have someone coach me and share profits with them.

If the system works, you're able to make more money this way through profits earned and we'll make money. We'll all be happy and we'll all be successful.

    Hi Kim

How about having live sessions where you bring us through a particular topic? For example: how to use tweeter as a potent marketing tool, how to set up a squeeze page from scratch, how to use a particular software, etc
  • Wan
    1. What sort of content, features, resources, and training would you like to see inside the Super Affiliate Club?

    ANS:

    Hi Kim,

Thanks for giving us this opportunity.
The following is what I think Super Affiliate Club should be to rock the internet marketing world. I hope my writing would be good enough to compete with the rest. And believe me writing is so hard on my part especially in English. But I want to be better at it so I got to try to just write and express myself for the good of this membership.

    A. Community
    1) A feeling good community that members feel safe and get sense of belonging when interact with each others.
    - We know it is kind of lonely being an IM. Most of us don't get much support offline so we easily get discourage when thing don't work so well. So be around like-minded people where we can share dream. goals, success stories would give us continuous inspiration and motivation needed to get us through any road block. Listening to others will give us some sense of who we are at present and let us know what we have to do to better our self. We need to have some awareness about the level of responsibility to handle money and this begin with our mindset. People with 1000 $/mth mindset will find it hard to to go to 2000 $/mth mindset. So just think how much change we should go through to have a 5000 $/mth mindset. People need to realise this sooner so they can move forward quickly. This is all a process and and if are willing to go thru it we will find out it is a fun journey after all.

    2) A platform for members to find joint venture or partner in working on a project together.
    - We just to have accept we can't do it all. We do need information but not to a level we have to be like an expert. Unfortunately most of us in IM trying to master everything. We want to know every little secret there is. And this path we will make us achieve the level of success we seek longer. What we should do is find some kind of leverage. Find a few partners with the same level of experience maybe 2 to 3 people but have different set of special skills. If the gurus do this why not newbie take this approach sooner. By doing this we also will get some kind of accountability partner that will give us some sense of responsibility. We also will learn things quickly. Usually people with special expertise won't find it hard to teach other because they love doing it and it could be their passion. In other word we learn better from a passionate teacher.

    3) A platform that is construct where content is presented in a way information overload can be avoided.
    i) Produce blueprint for each affiliate business model. This must include the process from start to end result and that is getting sale. By looking at different blueprint members can choose which model as their biz. They know what they need to have and that will make it easier for them to manage their business cost.

ii) 2 monthly Q and A webinar to answer members questions produce before the seminar. And maybe 30 minute in the end to answer question on live call.

iii) Do some selected website reviews by a few panels during live webinar twice monthly. Members just need to know what is a good review website, an affiliate blog or a good adsense sites.

iv) Not need to many interaction every month that makes member forget to do what is needed which is taking action and 'do' the hard part of business.

    v) Emphasize what it means to be a super affiliate and what responsibility it needs.

    4) Focus on being a super affiliate club not all in one IM club.
    - Content is everywhere and people will produce content continuously. So to compete with content is not a very good move. Be super affiliate club not producing content club or how to do club. What we need is an exceptional community that is very hard to duplicate because of its setup. Once a community has it own USP(unique selling proposition) not many will try to challenge it. The longer it survives and the more people continue to stay with the club because of its special value even after they already making money the stronger the club will become. To do this the club need some kind of mechanism that make members be 'part' of the club. It means when the club grows the member who stay will increase their values as well.

    USP
    i) Partnering with other exceptional community which provide values in other section of IM beside being an affiliate. Need other community who the founder has about the same vision and passion with us to make internet a lot better place than at present state. Teach member to become leaders not just followers. Some of them can further down the road create other communities to compliment this community. This is another form of leverage to make us move forward quickly with low cost.

ii) Create a 2-tier customer only affiliate program and give bonus who is active getting others join the community. Give also bonus to any member whose downline is active. This is super affiliate club and to be super affiliate club it needs itself be a excellent product and its member become super affiliate and themselves can assist others to be better affiliate.

iii) We all need hosting sooner or later. So perhaps the club has its own hosting services or partnering with others who want to provide quality hosting services. Maybe if our downline buy this hosting services the referrer would get some commission too. As affiliate we need hosting from different places to at least be a bit confident on the eyes of the SE bot. So 'unlimited' hosting maybe not good option.

iv) Setup different level of membership where the entry level is low cost to make it affordable for majority of people but they do need to recognize good things has some kind of values and too low of cost is not a good thing. Anyway this entry level is enough for people to at least earn some income at least 3 month into the membership. People need some kind of proof to believe this things works. The sooner they earn something the desire will increase and they will do more and more. Once they consistently earn few hundreds a month maybe they can upgrade their membership to further their knowledge to increase their level of income. This is also can avoid information overload. Although business needs investment to grow invest at the right time is the way to go.

    v) Some great tools or software that are selling come with multiple licenses. So maybe the club could distribute this license to member to reduce the cost if they buy them thru the club.

vi) The longer member stay with the membership the more perks they get. Maybe like after 6 months you get certain outstanding values or maybe discount for upgrading membership.

vii) Once a year or twice a year setup some kind of 3-day offline conference for members to get know each other face to face or learn from other first hand. It certainly will be exceptional experience. Maybe club could find ways for international members to join with low cost. Maybe like setup a donation for member to contribute for join benefits.

    C. Writing help section.
    - As we should realise by know content is king. We just have to accept being a good writer is a must to find some form of success online. Not many people can produce video content but most of us can become good writer. Writing is the best form to express ourself. Writing is the best rating system to evaluate how much we have learned so far. Knowing something such as by reading is just a part of learning. Anyway there is quote that say "Writing is the doing part of thinking". If we can translate all what we have learned in writing such as writing articles or blog post without much hassle then we know we really do understand what we have gathered so far. Having Gig and Gig of content doesn't mean we know things. So we need to learn how to write. We need some form of action. The better we write the better we think about things. So since most of us not very good with writing one section about writing is very much needed.

Well that is about it. There is more to say but I believe others have said that. I share this based on my experience going everywhere on the net. It is my passion to know why people having all this problem making money. What is the cause? Why people do sort of things? Why people failed? Why people succeed. Why there is so much scam?

Making money to me come second even when I don't make much all this time. Anyway I do make money to survive. I want to know why internet turn out like what have experience now. What works and what not. I have learned that we all all different. We have special skill and we are different. But there is common things among us all. We all want to be appreciated of what we do and we want to contribute something to others. We will someday experience in our journey that money is not the most important things in life. We might not know that yet but it will when the time comes. Life success is a journey not destination. If we resist changes along the way the harder we go thru this process. But whatever happen keep learning and keep growing and our life will always mean something great to us.

Super Affiliate Club Will Rock You!!! and thanks to Kim Roach.

    Best of luck to everyone.

    regards,
    Wan
  • Hi Beautiful

I'm taking a Bachelor in Innovation & Entrepreneurship and I believe that you are actually one of the few in IM that actually are trying to do something else. Just look at this blog, you want people to act before you got it up. I simply call this amazing. Good job girl!

But to the question, the thing many communities lacks is simply training on how to stay motivated and how to stay focused. If that's done correct, I think you have a winner.

    How?

    1. in a regular step-by-step training with motivation and focusing included. Maybe combined with the way Mohamed wants.

    2. Webinars with motivators (at least people who are known to motivate others in IM) and gurus together, preferably with Q&A from members.

    3. on every article, training, etc. Everything you post, think on motivation and focus when you write the material, not on how to earn money as I believe too many gurus think about. It looks that way at least.

4.5.6.7 I can’t tell before I see it live because it’s a lot easier to get ideas how it can work with live material.

Why? Because mind training is boring, and many will skip it if it’s not in the same material as the rest. You can tell how important it is, but people don't care because they want to earn money, not learn other things, even if it's the most important part. Why only that? Because I think you’re concept going to rock anyway. You have good resources, people are mentioning you (trained by Freville, one of the top 10 affiliates of Rockefeller). Yes, I can't see why this is going to rock, but if you get people motivated and focused, some people may unfortunately get out of your list because with your help, they have learned how to be good in IM.

Other ideas I got when I wrote this:

    Forum:

I’m sure you will have a forum, and as a section of the forum, I think there will be a good idea to implement a section with review of new JV/software/opportunities/books/etc. Only the first poster allowed to post an affiliate link and the poster needs to have, let’s say, 100 posts before allowed to post in that section of the forum. This could be an incentive to be active in the forums and get biased reviews before buying something they might not need. It’s almost impossible to get biased reviews because every new launch is a niche. Example: Do a Google search for a new product + review. You will only find affiliate sites and not biased reviews.

Also a section for JV would be wise, perhaps with a count on 300 posts before allowed to even read. Again an incentive for activity. Other sections can be member downloads, from material other members have made.

Feel free to contact me for more ideas if you want. (Will have lots of ideas when you go live)

    Best regards from Norway,

    Erle Walli

Hi, Kim the following is a list of topics I believe would benefit us all as marketers:

    1. Traffic strategies and sources both paid and free

    2. Products available to market, both current and new

    3. Wordpress, Adswap, website building tutorials

    4. Tips and tricks on how and where to market you site

    5. Instructions on increasing conversion rates

    6. Informal chat room for members to get to know one another

    7. Question and answer forum

    8. Monthly competition the winners names will be entered

    into a yearly grand competition.

There are many more, but I'll give someone else a chance

    now.

  • salvan
Traffic is the lifeblood of your website, and Kim, you seem to know a fair bit about getting it. The one thing that is missing from "inner cirlcle" programs is an actual application system. So here's what my idea is... When I was coach at the Automatic bestseller Inner Circle, I implemented a program whereby we walked our members through a system to write their books. so why not do a step-by-step traffic system? it could be a weekly tactic followed by follow up action steps. That way, members would go away and have 1 week to implement that step. and so on...
  • Jobin
I suppose everybody had their say. I simply believe if you have to make this club the best Internet Marketing community
on the Web, there needs to be a structural plan. What I mean is there is always a missing link (what next) that some newbies fail to understand and quit before the dawn. As I have followed you for sometime, I can clearly say that you produce top-notch content. I believe there needs to be a step-by-step approach to the content as good as yours. Mindmaps can serve the purpose if that is structured to deliver to a newbie, intermediate, as well as advanced internet marketers. This enables them to feel that they are going in right path rather than the feeling of information overload. The blueprint should be flexible to meet individuals level of skill and their needs. I hope this helps.
  • First, I would like a lot of audio recordings. Video is nice, but time consuming. I prefer audio downloads, so I can listen on the way or at work. (Plus I like your voice, and I'm not saying that to flatter ;-)

Second, I would like you to help me be more productive - manage my time and focus on the right things. What should I do first or more of. Oh, and please don't focus on outsourcing too much. Not only I can't afford it, it also takes time by itself, and there is a learning curve to it as well.

Thirdly, I would like you to visit my site and give me just one or two quick tips from first glance. I know you won't do a full review of every member's site (or sites), but just the first things that come to your mind after a 2 minute visit - that could be great.

Well, that what comes to mind. I would probably remember more once I submit this form...
  • I would like to learn more about "how to think like your customer". I always have the feeling that I think differently than most. Probably not, but I know that I'm a cynical buyer. But when I'm passionate about something, I would like to come across as genuinely knowledgeable with not too much hype.

I also would like good solid knowledge on picking a niche with emphasis on the exact type of research needed to pick a niche I can be passionate about.

    Hi Kim.

Great tool... measuring the needs of your audience to deliver high value right back at us ! !

Content is king. You have that. So what next?

How about Marketing Chats/Webinars and bring on members as guests who can share their success stories from the specific strategies they’ve learned from SAC? I think this really helps and inspires the members to see that it can be accomplished and gives us a little different perspective. Plus we all need a good review of the material covered and the results achieved from our execution of this material.

Also, how about bringing on other experts as guests? This usually brings a lot of value to the table.
  • Joe Stewart
    Hi Kim,

I thought I'd go down the list of what you said and brainstorm on each topic and see what I can come up with.

#1. Content - You make some of the best "how to" videos I've seen. If you could add more of those and do it in a "step one, step two, step three, etc" format, that would be fantastic.

#2. Resources - More ways to generate traffic. You're so creative and resourceful in finding these little "hidden gems". You can never have enough ways to get and test new traffic.

#3. Training - Well, some of this goes back to what I put in #1, but mini-courses, delivered by either videos or articles would be excellent. Please make them short and sweet as possible though. Break them up into mini-bites of 5-7 parts and make them part of a bigger picture that will all come together at the end. Does that make sense? Mini pieces of a big puzzle that can be easily digested in 10-20 minutes tops?

#4. Features - Guest speakers is an excellent idea but two suggestions here, if I may.

#4A. No more than once per month. I'd want to be able to have time to put what I'd learned to use and I couldn't keep up if they were more frequent than that.

#4B. Try to get two experts in the same niche on at the same time and have a list of questions for them to answer. Give each of them the same question, one at a time, of course. These guys will go back and forth trying to get the best of the other and unload everything they know on a topic just to outdo the other guy. I've seen this work and it's awesome to behold. lol

Anyway, there's my two cents. I hope it helps.

  • I think a crowdsourcing feature harnessing the collective wisdom of its members would be a useful tool for everyone. Implementation would simply consist of members providing anonymous marketing strategies that will be posted and voted on by everyone, taking the top 50% vote-winner which are then voted on again by everyone until only one strategy remains. This strategy is then implemented by you and its efficacy compared to your other marketing techniques. This can be done as an ongoing process to create a library of crowdsourced online marketing strategies. To promote participation, each round's winner can be awarded some sort of prize such as a free membership.

    just one simple idea kim...

how about a lottery, in a period of time.
(depends on you of course, could be yearly, even better monthly).

and the winner can get a very tempting prize,
like this one (a FREE LIFETIME MEMBERSHIP!)
(or anything else, this too depends on you).

    Kim,

This is absolutely fantastic and you are a true example of someone who practice the concept of building a list via giving superb value to the subscribers. Over the years, I seen some courses claiming to be the "best" in town. However, its almost always the same old rehashed old information or it leaves the buyer figuring out how to piece the puzzle together. Besides, it doesn't tell the buyer how to build a sustainable business online from ground up. Very briefly, I believe the below sets out the characteristics of a super duper rocking affiliate club:

A good affiliate club would help provide the foundation and pillars for building a long term sustainable business and income. Importantly, the club will provide guidance and strategies on building short, intermediate and long term income. That's how I would target and build my business from the offset. Why? Because in the initial phase, short term income will be an immediate booster to our belief that our online business can work. Then we use the short term income to reinvest back into the business for the intermediate to long term income cycle. That way, nobody gives up or get dishearten from their efforts.
Secondly, building a successful business online can be a very mentally tiring process if things don't go according to plan. One way to minimise this issue is by having success mindset modules where members can access whenever they feel down.
Thirdly,a full complete easy to comprehend content and information can be greatly beneficial to the members. This can come in different forms, such as in video learning, audio learning, ebooks, webinars, case studies, over the shoulder learning process, checklist, process maps, mind maps, etc. But importantly, the learning should come in a step by step actionable method ie. detailing which steps to do first and why. This will enable us to understand why and the reason behind each step. Also, to enhance the learning process, a person has to complete one step at a time before moving on to the next. In this case, maybe you can "lock" each module and unlock it once the person has complete the required steps. This will ensure accountability and almost ensuring the people has learned from it.
Besides, if you can structure the learning process into steps that actually lead to a creation of their own fully profitable functional sites, this would create a win win situation for both. You have customers for life and we would be making $$ as well.
Having said that, I am sure your club would cover most if not all of the below which I believe is necessary for knnowledge for a successful internet business:
    1. set up on a blog and a regular site(details for newbies)
    2. Templates creation for squeeze page (regular and Video); minisite; sales page;
    3. Quality and cheap or value for money Web Tools for automation
    4. Copywriting
    5. Product Reviews
    6. Graphics creation
    7. outsourcing
    8. product creation
    9. SEO
    10. JV
    11. Research
    12. Keyword research
13.. Using Camtasia and how to do video marketing
    14. Traffic Sources esp the free ones
    15. Social Marketing
16 guidance and updates on regulations such as FTC
    17. Information on potential google slap

That's definitely a lot of things to cover and what more it will definitely be overwhelming to a newbie. Its best if the content be structured in a way to have the above characteristics so that chances of succeeding will be higher. One more thing if I may add is that the learning must stress on or emphasis on ACTION. Without Action, its as good as failure for the learner.

To summarise, the club teaching process should lead to an actionable, easy to understand with lots of support via forum or another for the learners. Only then will the chances of succeeding be higher and this is what makes Super Affiliate Club ROCKS.

    Hope this helps.

    Cheers,
    Wei Teck

    Hi Kim

I would like to see you dissecting websites as part of the membership.

It can be a dissection of web copies, the way a site structured their layout (and how it should be done to improve their SEO ranking), testing methods, etc. In short what are done right and wrong? And what should be done to improve their profitability and online presence.

My suggestion is to have it on recorded video and hold a live webinars to allow questions and answers. This can be done on a weekly or monthly basis.

You may even consider holding a contest where we (as your subscribers or members) can participate in the dissecting process (before your comment), and the top winner can probably win a month of free membership for your club.

This allows idea sharing (example a new and more accurate way to do testing) and by participating in the problems spotting and coming out with creative solutions independently, we can train ourselves to be better online business owner in time to come.

We can seek volunteers (preferably websites from your subscribers or club members) for this activity. It's win-win since they get to understand their problems and solutions plus free publicity.
  • Hi Kim,

Tom Westervelt Here with a few Ideas for you.
    1. Newbie To Profits !
Take 3 people and walk them from newbie to their first profitable month.
Similar to your traffic challenge. Nobody has ever put their information
they sell to the test like that. The credentials you would earn would be
truly amazing. There are thousands of membership sites, and they are all
selling duplicated content reformatted to to be branded to they own uniqueness.
Newbie To Profits would put you in a new class all by itself.
    2. Offer Products for members to begin selling , you know Resale Rights
    3. Coaching is a no brainer, but add fundamental services. People want thier dinners
served on one plate , and pick from a single menu. Go here , learn that, come back
    go somewhere else.
Self contained information with-in your site will rock. You can use iframe to let students
use external resources without ever leaving your site.
    4. WebSite LAB.
Host Gator has these sites where you sign up and administrate many sites, Offer a site for
all you members so they have a lab that is unique to them. This way they have a built in lab
in realtime within the club. Structure the costs of the membership to include this, which is
a small fee. Nobody is doing this either.
    5. Add Security. This is a sore subject for me.
Once you put anything on the net it is subject to be stolen, hacked, and sometimes broken.
Your a wordpress fan, and so am i. Having the native backup, firewall, security plugins
plus knowing where the logs are to look for trouble including database logs is a large
task in itself, and you cant promote using this free software without an extensive armory
of preventive security measures, and debugging techniques.

I have a boat load of other tips, but I must break to help my wife begin preparation for
    thanksgiving.
Best of luck with your new venture !
  • Kim, your reputation is spreading like a wildfire across the IM world.

I'd love access, so here's my contribution.

Lay down a step-by-step program to start earning money in one week. Sounds simple enough, right? But so many people get it wrong.

Here's what I would do based on the simple things I've looked for in the past.

    *Weekly Checklist of Tasks*
Explain the exact steps that needs to be taken every single day for 7 days. A checklist would be ideal. Include a checklist for people with no hosting...and a checklist for those that have.

Provide video tutorials explaining each step in the checklist. Tell us exactly what to do...and what to avoid.

Explain the various ways...and pitfalls...to make money.

    *Tools*
Provide the tools to get everything up and running. Front end template/Squeeze page, OTO template, Thank you template.

    *Continuing Growth*
Don't stop there. After we've repeated 4-8 weeks of the checklist, tell us how we can scale our business upwards or laterally in order to grow the business and avoid burnout. Should we outsource, bookmark old articles again, write new articles, hire staff, etc.

Essentially, the foundation for growing a productive business...not just making a few sales here and there.
  • Hello Kim, here are my suggestions.

Offer your training at a beginning, intermediate, and advanced level. Define each level and your affiliates can participate at the level that they fill comfortable in. Make each level interesting with video demos, webinars, and real case studies (with opportunities to ask questions). Select participants from each levels to work one on one with, give them just a little guidance so they can become mentors to help those that were in their shoes. Disclose all the time wasters and other techniques that don’t work. Start off with a selected number of affiliates in your group to make it manageable and successful for all who are in it. There are too many programs out there that are too large to help everyone, especially the ones that need it. Provide coaches that know your system in and out who would be tasked with helping a few affiliates each week. After three months or so, evaluate your program by getting feedback from your affiliates to see if it is working. If it’s not, modify it to make better and different from all the rest of the programs out there. We need to learn things like what do we need to put on our websites? What company can design our website if we can’t and what do we tell them to put on it. Tell us how to really get traffic! Tell us how to contact outsourcing companies to do the work if we don’t have a lot of time to spare. Give us a video library of different topics of things that we really need to know. Show techniques steps by step (over the shoulder videos), show the good with the bad, every technique really don’t work. Chose a few affiliates that have never made a dime with all the programs they’ve been involved with and prove your system works if he follows it. Tell us what we need to know to become successful. Listen to your affiliates concerns, this will prove to be a winning recipe for success (we all win).

    Hi Kim,

This suggestion covers three of the items you ask in your question; content, resources and training.

What I think would be extremely valuable to all of your members is a VERY detailed, Step-by-step Guide that thoroughly explains a comprehensive back link and traffic acquisition process. The Guide would explain and illustrate how all the different resources like Web 2.0 Properties, Blogs, Forums, RSS, Video, Audio, Articles, Press Releases, Bookmarking, How-to web sites, Directories, Auto-responders, etc. are all integrated together into a seamless system that could be used to widely promote a web site or a portfolio of web sites.

The Guide would be an extremely comprehensive, itemized, organized and indexed playbook that would effectively become a Knowledgebase of how to build a system that incorporates and utilizes all the resources available. The design could be modular so you could add/edit/remove items as they become obsolete or add new ones as they emerge.

What could really make this Step-by-step Guide stand out from everything else is if were done in both a text-based outline format, AND have it presented in a detailed process map. Each function of the process would have its own accompanying detail with real-life examples of the function. For example, a sub-process step about Articles could include a notation about specific Tools someone can use to check for duplicate content or the uniqueness of an article.

Once the core foundation of this Step-by-step Guide is designed, you could encourage your Forum Members to create additional modules, say one for web page sales conversion, product niche identification or keyword research and analysis, Case Studies, etc. There could even be a general ‘Tools’ section that then maps back to the process steps each tool touches. For more advanced users there could be sections on databases, creating web forms, etc.

With the proper design, the Guide could also become an extremely effective ‘Training Tool’, where members could both see the ‘big picture’ view, plus they could drill down to get to the detail level. The Guide would be good for both newbie’s to start learning the ropes plus it would help more seasoned players to keep everything organized.

Perhaps one of the key elements of this ‘Super Guide’ would be that it has ‘actionable’ information, where someone could select one area, go to it and actually start to do the tasks.

I hope this idea is appealing to your Forum Members, I know I would love a consolidated resource like this.

Keep up all the great work Kim, you’re the best!

    Kim,

There are so many components to running an Internet business: SEO, backlinking, copywriting, building websites, blogs, email marketing, squeeze pages, to name only a very few.

But I think the problem for most of us is finding the time to do it all! That's why IMHO the very best thing you could add is information on how to leverage your time through outsourcing - i.e. how to find, train, and manage a "team" so as to bring together all the components of a successful online business.

Nobody can learn it all, much less DO it all. But a team can do exactly that - with each person specializing in just one aspect of running the business.
  • Alan_M
    Kim,

This is terrific stuff! I think your concept, material and focus can be best summed up in what I look for in membership sites: "VALUE".

I don't know how you plan to cover it all. I see in the comments everything from step-by-step for "newbies" to how to design landing pages, to PPC to choosing a niche to member-of-the-month. At some level they all have validity.

However in watching your video about "3 Things Gurus Won't Tell You", especially your decision to leave school and focus on buidling an online business, what I heard were the intangibles- those things beyond the strategies and mechanics of Affiliate Marketing, that made you a success. I think those intangibles that speak to your "mindset" are every bit as important as the mechanics.

Things like passion, determination, focus and desire to succeed as an entrepreneur are the lynch pins to success.

So, my suggestion is to have "Mindset Monday" where you release one attribute for the week that you find or have found important to pushing through to achieve the objecties or goals necessary for internet marketing success.

For example, on the first Monday, you could have "FOCUS" be the word for "Mindset Monday" which is necessary for your members to have in determining their niche or their particular means of determining their own online business. You could suggest that each member needs to have "FOCUS" in addressing their particular tasks for that week.

The next week , you would release another word on Monday for "Mindset Monday"..say Determination and so on.

    That's my two cents!
  • itzcyndi
I think it would be important to have a step by step system that shows a person how to make money as an affiliate for those who have no clue. Then to offer the easy tools such as plug and play squeeze pages, etc. Also very important to show them how to code their affiliate links and how to track them. How to use an excel spreedsheet to keep track of each affiliate offer they are promoting and their links, etc.
Make sure to tell them to always do a squeeze page for the affiliate product. Then I would show them how to "bring on the traffic" (which you are a pro at Kim!) I believe if anyone had a "system" that they saw working for them that they could rinse and repeat with any affiliate product, then how could they not become a super affiliate? :) I think adding "success calls" might be good to or even add a forum where the members could share things together of what is working for them. Make if a family community. I think monthly competitions would be great or some kind of "point system" would work.
  • frankmcloughlin
    Hi Kim -

I've been following you via my association with the Chris Farrell Membership site and have put so many of your
traffic generating techniques to use over the past couple of months. I have searched for any content of yours that
I can get my hands on, because it is just GOLDEN. I say this not to butter you up, but to establish that I have a
    decent familiarity with your content.

Anyway, to answer you question, I recently watched your Google Domination video and, as ever, learned some really
valuable stuff. I think people would love to see how you go from research to profits. Step-by-step case studies of
how Kim Roach can take an idea from concept to conclusion would be super fun to see.

One of the hardest thing for the beginner internet marketer is finding a formula, a road map, if you would, to creating valuable and efficient campaigns. I have Michelle MacPhearson's Social Media Blueprint, which is awesome. It's also very, very long and time consuming to employ. Is there a more concise Kim Roach formula?

I think that there would be such enormous value to seeing how you organize your campaigns. I know from experience
that it is so easy to get caught up in doing so many things at once that it can be very difficult to keep track of what has been done and what yet needs to be done. Also, I would like to see how much of which tactic to employ, and when and where.

I personally would love to see how you employ Article Marketing and Social Media posting. Which paid traffic
generating techniques your use, e.g. 30 Minute Backlinks. Social Poster, etc. Which paid and free keyword tools you
use (not just what's available to use) e.g. Market Samurai. Google Keyword Tool, SEOBook, etc.

Good time management and organization, I'm sure you agree, are key to internet marketing success. People will spend
hundreds of hours of their valuable time trying to figure internet marketing out, but will often not consider paying for tools that can help automate some of their tasks. I would be really interested in knowing which tools you find valuable and which you believe are not worth the money. I believe that a review of there kinds of tools, current and future, would be valuable to your readership in sorting the wheat from the chaff.

Social Media has gotten to be tremendously dynamic with some site's glowing while others fade. With so many social
media/bookmarking sites out there, and, it seems, new ones arriving on the scene daily, quite honestly, I can't figure out the purpose of some of them. Again, I think your readership would be interested in your take on these sites, current and emerging: The differences between them, the benefits of each to us and how to use them effectively.

You say in one of your articles that the key to success is to give people great content. I'm sure most people can wrap their heads around that statement, but many people cannot judge their own content. Helping people create great content and helping them understand how to determine if their content is of value to others, I'm sure, would be of great value to multitudes of internet marketers. I think this is one of the areas in which people become paralyzed. Helping people get over this hurdle would free them to move forward.

One of the areas that I rarely see "Gurus" talk about is the true cost of being an internet marketer. We all know that in order to have a website one must purchase a domain name and hosting. But, realistically, what kind of budget should someone set aside in order to make a serious go at IM? Are there different monetary commitment levels at which one can attain success? Is there a way to speed up the process with the inclusion of certain paid products?

I understand that there are certain themes running through my suggestions, so please forgive any redundancy on my
part. I hope you find my suggestions helpful and I look forward to much more great content from you.

All the best with The Super Affiliate Club.

1 - Show me an affiliate course that teaches me step-by-baby step how to become a Super Affiliate with a daily "to do" list for me to do.
2 - Show me how to make my own ecovers, especially using free Gimp (I have paid ones, too) and have mastered none.
    3 - Weekly or bi-weekly webinars
4 - Show me how to post in forums to get traffic - how often, how long should my post be, how to write signature lines
5 - Show me how to write good (ok, excellent) resource boxes for my articles
6 - Show me how to keep my readers interested in my newsletters - especially if I decide on more than one niche - like making one squeeze page giving away a free report I write, getting a list from there, but -- can I go on to other sq. pages/reports, too? How would I keep them all going?
7 - Show me how to "create" really good domain names (created, not purchased from someone who already made one)
8 - Show me how to start my own membership site (in my case, Article Ideas) - from scratch or some program, step by step (I do have some ideas here, just don't know what to do with them!)
9 - Show me how to copy write so I can create my own squeeze pages and edit yours better (assuming I will find some on your site). Help me with headlines.
10 - Now and then, throw me a computer tip to keep my computer well. I tend to have a lot of breakdowns and screw ups.
11 - Show me a blueprint, list, diary - something, so that I know just exactly what it is to do each day, step by step. (What comes first, the website or squeeze page with the opt-in form, or the newsletters (how many - and I assume they cannot be "timely"), the ebook or report, -- so many things to do, but in what order?
12 - Show me how newsletters "work". If I gear my newsletter towards Christmas themes and someone joins in January, will they get the November Christmas ones? I don't quite understand how that works. What if I want them to be "timely" according to seasons and holidays?
13 - Show me videos to how to get traffic to my squeeze page and site (do I need both?)
14 - Please have lots of contests for those of us in that "economy" crunch, at least until we start making some money!
15 - Show me videos on how you make that absolutely adorable blackboard background with print on it during the video I saw you do. Are there more backgrounds like that (so we don't copy you, per se) and how is that done? I am interested in doing videos, but not with ME in them! I love the way you did that one!
16 - Show me how to make lots of money with the zillions of ideas I have for articles. I am overloaded with article ideas and want to share them and make money with them! I believe you can show me (and others) how. I have yet to make any money.
17 - Show me how I can make money using Amazon and Clickbank affiliates and just how long should that take? Are there other affiliate places like those two or would they be the only two to use?
18 - A forum where we can ask questions and get answers from you or other members.
19 - Lots of resources, like in your mindmap. I adore resources and knowing I have places to find this and that.
20 - Would it be possible to set up a "buddy" system with people who are like-minded? By this I mean if I had a "buddy" (I personally know no one in this business and my friends and family are not interested - until I make some money (lol)) - I think if I had a "buddy" to account to everyday, I would get more done. I could see that my buddy got something done daily (if only for an hour or I could help with article ideas and s/he could see that I get something done daily) as I would not want to tell anyone I accomplished "nothing" today. And some days I know I accomplish nothing.
21 - And last, so others have some room to talk!, what is your day like? I know you are busy, successful, have all these things planned - but hourly, what is your day like (as mine should be someday). Do you take days off or work every single day? Do you work early or late, or both? Do you have an office at home or elsewhere? Do you travel and work on the computer, as well? Are you holed up in a room like I am? I'd like to know just what you do everyday and how you have it "managed" to get it all done.

Thank you for listening and allowing me to participate.

English is not my first language; really hope what I’m going to write below will make some sense.
What can make Super Affiliate Club to be the best Internet Marketing community on the Web? There are a lot of affiliate clubs on the web, some of them are good, some not so; they offer more or less the same things, services, features and resources: online training, videos, checklists, squeeze pages, forums, PR and so on. So what? Any of them stand out? Can you name at least one into which people have to wait for months till they can joint? Nope, don’t think so. There are few reasons to that. I think the main one is the fact that all of them are the same. Internet Marketers [newbie and advance] are given resources, examples, blueprints. Use them, follow them, and you should be fine and successful. It still doesn’t work. I even came across affiliate clubs where results were guaranteed. Make sure that you follow the blueprint, watch “over the shoulder” video and you will get The Result. Still no good. Of course there were people that achieved something but that did not help the club to get the status “The Best Internet Marketing community”. Taken into account all the above, the only solution to this I see if Club members are paid to achieve results. We can have all the support possible [again videos, blueprints and so on] but the membership principal should be changed. What is our main task here? To make honest income online, to make money. A lot of people fail. A lot of people pay for knowledge but then get almost killed by information overload. Not a lot of us get to the finish line.
I think, to put it briefly, we have to do the following:
The main aim of the club should be to help people succeed and make money. And not just money – to make profit. I know people that have been doing IM for years and haven’t earned enough to recover their money back. There should be 2 types of members: newbie and advance. Membership for newbies should be very cheap – like 1-2 dollars per months. Any newbie should agree on a task and completion time [tasks should be rated, say from 1 to 10]. Tasks could be different – set up 10 blogs, join 10 CPA networks, earn $100 through Adsense and so on. Higher the number – more money it should cost. You either deposit/pay required amount or agree to pay it [if it is not paid you should not be allowed to start another task]. If you complete the task by the agreed (may be even given to you) date – you don’t pay anything, if not – money stays with the club [there could be some variations here: like possibility to buy time extensions, redo the task and so on]. If the task is completed in record time or with great results – a user should be rewarded.
At certain point members should be promoted to the Advance level. The Club should charge these members [monthly fee or something]. But the same principal should also apply here. Advance users should be able to offer their services to newbies, team up with newbies, co-op with newbies and other members to buy expensive IM products, create teams and compete between each other and so on. Advance users should be rewarded/paid by helping newbies [point system might be really useful here].
I can think of a lot of possible scenarios and variations here, and the whole idea can be polished up and improved. The main point here – to use “the dollar” to push newbies beyond the point of no return, beyond the line, where you don’t loose any money and start making them. The more everyone makes – the richer Club is going to be. Sooner or later it will become “The Best Internet Marketing Community On The Web”.

    Hi Kim,

Thanks for the great content and valuable sources for traffic you give.

Kim, what I would really really like to see in the back end of the Super Affiliate.

Take your mind map or 21 points and each week focus on of them to take it further (For example Content Syndication, Articles, Guest Blogging). People learn in differnt forms and this will help them learn completely on that topic.

Step 1 - Start of the week cycle, release a detailed report or lesson (personally I prefer video, but some prefer writing, possible do both).

Step 2- Have a interactive forum where people can discuss on this topic (and past topics). This forum would be there afte to continue discussion.

Step 3 - Have a webinar or teleseminar with a Question and Answer on that topic at the end until people get all there questions answered. IMPORTANT - Have a copy of this webinar or teleseminar for new members and for people to listen to in the bacn end. (other idea is to bring in a expert on that area).

This will allow a complete use expereince to learn and answer all the users questions.

    Thanks,
    Mukul Verma

    Hi Kim,
That's a big question and I am sure that you have had an avalanche of answers already! I am not sure whether I can add much to the equation, but I do think that it would be beneficial to have a combination of resources to appeal to the wide range of subcribers needs.
However, can you be all things to all people I wonder?
Perhaps there could be an emphasis on getting newbies up and running. There are so many individuals who are trying desperately to make sense of things. If you can get information across in a variety of formats, videos, webinars with replays and checklist type articles with step by step instructions, added to as questions arise so that they are constantly updated, then this could form the basis of a library where people could go to, confident in the knowledge that they could follow these steps and actually see the process take shape.
Certainly competitions would be helpful to keep people 'onsite', but how about programmes which keep them involved, so that they may embark upon a specific training and feedback the results or problems as they go along.
Observing over the shoulder would be an essential aspect of these tutorials. Newbies need to be able to implement the skills required to actualise such things as blogs and websites before they can think about the next stages. Mostly they need to know where to begin and what kind of things they may achieve, but there seem to be so many ways of using online marketing, that it is no surprise that it can be confusing.
If you had a clear outline of various sections, such as beginners, broken down into other sections, ie: keyword research, domains, hosting, blogs, articles etc, followed by the more advanced information for those who are in need of that, making it as simple as possible for anyone to get started, or jump in at the point where they feel they belong, then you have a sort of roadmap as it were. This would enable someone to begin effectively without being distracted by more down the road techiniques, but also afford more experienced marketers a place to embark as well.
Practical resources would include templates, directories of websites and such.
If you could also provide a breakdown of the best products to affiliate with and the ones to avoid, I am sure that this would be viewed as helpful.
Since this is a club and working online can be quite a lonely and isolating experience, a forum of friendly souls, interacting together is really relevant. If a community spirit evolves then wonders can occur as those with little experience may find solace in the fact that there are real people out there who feel the same, together with those who have made headway, underlining the potential of creating an online business and its availability.
With this in mind, if you could provide a platform so that there is the possibility of anyone going from zero to such a business with the information , guidelines and inspiration from the site, so that their website or products could be given a profile and joint ventures be encouraged, then you not only offer the step by step know how, (constantly developing this), but also somewhere to go and also a practical outcome. By giving a platform so that members can feel encouraged and know that their efforts will be actively promoted in all respects, you would be providing a tremendous service.
I know you asked for 'content, features, resources and training' in your question, but I think that this has been answered by many. What I am hoping to highlight is the aspect of support which your club has the opportunity to create. Think of village life for example, where everyone looks out for each other, but an online version.
There may be unique ideas that evolve as a result and it would be realistic to approach these as they appear.
    Hope this helps,
    Marusja

    Hi Kim

there are plenty of courses in Internet but as I could notice reading comments most valuable course is so called "case study" but carried out live. If you could show how to make money online step by step day after day from scratch to the succesful end. For example:
1 day - you are looking for niche
2 day - you are looking for the best keywords
3 day - finding apropriate products
4 day - creating site or page
5 day - choosing strategy of marketing( what to do first and what next)
6 day - creating campaign and show results ( how to increase visitors quantity)

This is only proposal. I know that it can be difficult and culd last longer ( even month or more) ) but it would be worth of waiting - I think.
I have been reading and watching many courses and everything looked easy before I started to do it myself.
Often it didn't work as well as in course.
Keen pupils could do it simultanously with you and share their results on forum. It could be some kind of interactive course.
I think nobody have done such course yet.

    Hi Kim,

As a newbie, I am interested in creating traffic. Your mind map provided numerous sources and it is overwhelming. I would like to learn which sources are best for particular situations, how to determine where my traffic is coming from, how to track the quantity from sources, and how to split test different items to determine the best result.

This social media thing has me for a loop. I would like to learn how to specifically use the social media sites for business traffic purposes.

Another thought is a review of all the tools available to generate the traffic. I get “guru” emails all the time about the latest fad but I never really know what works and why.

Lastly, generating traffic is wonderful but what do we do with it once it arrives? I would like to explore “conversion” tactics to keep what we have generated. If I can accomplish my goal with 15,000 subscribers, why do I need 200,000?

I’ve enjoyed your teachings so far as they are precise and right to the point. The “show me how” is very important to me.

    Sorry to ramble so long

    Shawn
  • Hi Kim,
I would like to see small teams of members work together on a mini site campaign. This would be good for me as I cannot find anyone locally to mastermind with. The different ideas that would come up would help all of us and since we are invested in this site our input, responses, failures, winners would accelerate our learning experience.
The people who want to be in these teams could have a friendly competition with each other. I would really love to be part of this idea.
    Thanks

    Hey Kim.

I have been online for about 18 months now, and have had varied degrees of success.
I love the quality of content that you give and I think that it is very transparent and of a high quality.

I would love to see a quality forum.

I would love to see plug and play squeeze pages, but with the squeeze pages I would like if you could give some tips on how to optimise them for higher rankings on Google SERPS.

Tips on article writing, and writing good sales copy, maybe a pre written article and salescopy. That could give us critical sections that we need to follow.
Like headlines, call to actions etc.

A weekly, fortnightly or monthly webinar. With someone whom you know and who you think will give the members great information.

You offer so much content for free... so it is hard to come up with ideas... you do such a great job...

    But I hope this helps

    Thanks

    Tas.
  • Hi Kim,
    What I would like to see is;
    1) A good resources area which would include, where I could outsource articles to a reliable English speaking writer,a free easy squeeze page which could be adaptable to many different markets.

    2) A traffic generating area whereby you share your experience and that of any memebers who have a "proven" track record.

    3) I would like what perhaps many affiliates would like and that is guidance in choosing products to be an affiliate for.Perhaps not in the form of you put up twenty hot niches per month, but guidlines of how to search yourself and find those worthwhile products to affiliate for.

Naturally we are and all will be at different levels of experience this may be a small problem.
  • clintpollard
    Hi Kim,

The thing I would like to see most is an over the shoulder view of you starting a campaign and updates on how the campaign is working. If it doesn't work very well no problem, I would like to watch you as you start another campaign.

I am sure you know that most people that try IM never make any money, but they would if they they saw their friend making it. You could be that friend and I guarantee if you were many more people would be making money in IM.

The other thing that would help would be the call in days. It would need to be through Skype or something similar because if it wasn't free many people would not call.

A list of free tools would be helpful to those just getting started, because I am sure many people right now are losing their jobs and are trying to make a new start online and just can't afford the tools they need right now, and there are many tools they could use free until they were making a little money.

A surprise would be nice to receive every month, so if you let members know that every month you will try and give them the best surprise you can find maybe a free product or script heck I don't know no one has ever done that for me, it will give them something to look forward to each month.

That's all I have Kim, but that would be all anyone would need

    Take care!!

  • I would love the programme to be step by step, It would be great to have a checklist that you work through, so everyday I would be organized. If I had a checklist with must do next this would be great. I have learnt alot from your free stuff so far, but I need to be organized as I am easily distracted.
  • I would like to see lots of project guides to practical tasks such as setting up your first money-making WordPress blog, choosing a good niche, getting your blog up to 100 visitors a day as quickly as possible, and so on. These project guides would need to be written in a step-by-step way, with clear instructions and screengrabs where appropriate, so that even a complete newbie can follow them. The guides would, in effect, form a complete affiliate marketing course that can help anyone who is willing to invest a bit of time and effort to generate a steady income from affiliate marketing.

    Hi Kim
First I like to thank you for the great content you provide, keep up the good work.
I think that a step by step tutorial/blueprint covering everything from picking out a product, keyword research, setting up the site, getting traffic to that site, and eventually see sales coming in from that site would be a great help, and an important starting point for all us newbies out there. To have a recipie to follow where you could just rinse and repeat to start a new money making site would be a fantastic thing to add to our arsenal.

    Thanks

    Hi Kim
It has been a year and a half since I first started my online journey, after working in construction for 25 long years I deperately needed something else, how I got into internet marketing is a long story so I wont go into that today but,

At the time that I decided IM was for me I had zero experience on computors let alone marketing so I knew my learning would take time, I made many mistakes and wasted a ton of money on some pretty laim products like many of us do,

I am now at the stage where I have quit my J.O.B which is great, I am not making as much as I want to but I am enjoying my work, in my year and a half I have learnt so much,

Like many of us out here I have purchased the latest dream tickets, worked my way through them and at the end was still looking for the missing piece to the puzzle,

Just lately I have started to realise just what that missing piece is, I always keep learning more, I implement more each day, I never stop and I never give up but when I think about it I am working as many if not more hours than in my J.O.B,

So the most important piece of the puzzle to include for me is how to scale my business and push on to the next level, how to leverage the Assets I have and all that I have learned,

When you look at it like this, many of the things I have learned to this point IE: site creation, ftp, php redirect, optin forms and much more can be done by someone in India for peanuts,

Teach me the one piece I believe is missing from nearly every product on the market, to move my business to the next level.

    cheers
    Spencer

    Here are my suggestions:

    1. Blueprints for different kinds of link building techniques. I have a couple thing in mind here. Of the 1001 different linking techniques out there, which ones are proven to be the best ones.

Perhaps it can be broken out like this:

    1. When you first start out, do these 10 things on a new site.
    2. One month in, do these 10 or 20 things
    3. Three months out
    4. To maintain ranking, where to link

Or another way to break it out:

    1. No budget, lots of time scenario
    2. Some budget and lots of time
    3. Good budget and little time
    4. Big budget and only oversight time

Another way I'd like to see this broken out might be by effectiveness. What really is effective and what isn't.

    1. Here are the ten best bangs for your buck
    2. Here are the worst time sucks but the seemingly lowest hanging fruit
    3. Here is the stuff that could get you into trouble. Avoid at all costs.

Also, something about clustering them seems appealing. If you do PR, then you should also do these six things.

If you do paid link directories like Yahoo, here are the other 7 things you should do.

Of all the darn choices out there, I'd love some step by step, don't-think-about-what-dovetails-or-works-in-synergy-with-another-technique, do this and this and then this.

While the mind map is GREAT. IS GREAT. It's a bit overwhelming. Where do I start. What do I do first, second third. Once I get a handle on stuff, where do I go from there.

Along these lines is the big time saver of blueprints you can hand off to someone doing off shore work. I've been interviewing people like mad and have found several people with great English skills and some linking skills, but I find that I have to put together instructions for them to follow. I'd love outsourcing materials that are tried and tested that I can give to my small team of link builders that I've been hiring.

Reviews of the BEST tools to use. I'd like someone to really review the best tools out there. I have my own collection of stuff I use, and I've bought a lot of tools to end up using only a handful of them. But there are many areas that I just don't have the time any longer to evaluate and test to make sure they are good. For tracking and reporting, For finding back links, for evaluating keywords, for saving time. But included in the reviews are the thumbs down tools. Don't use these because they aren't as good as the ones that were reviewed for these reasons.

Get club discounts for the great services out there, if you can. Don't promote stuff just because you get the affiliate commission. But if you can't get a discount, let us know upfront if you are getting a commission. It's a grey line for me. I pay for a club, there are those that would hit me up for commissioned services.

    Lists of the best services:

    1. Article writing services, if there are any
    2. Article distribution, if that still works, like UAW or Article Marketer, which was split in two recently.
    3. Link building services
    4. Where to outsouce
    5. Free PR
    6. Paid PR
    7. Free Directories
    8. Paid Directories
    9. Keyword tools
    10. Plugin for WordPress
    11. Squeeze pages for WordPress
    12. CMS templates for WordPress
    13. Most effective social media sites
    14. Best paid links, if you do that sort of thing. I don't, do they work? I'd like to know.
    15. Best place to find designers
    16. And the list goes on . . .

Stuff that doesn't work, too, and why, can be helpful. There is a lot of stuff out there that seems cool for building natural or paid traffic, but does it have validity, is it tested. I paid for a club once where these guys had an idea, could code for it and put it out there like it was some great thing and asked to be paid for it and they never, ever tested it. It had no legs. Those were my gray hat days and I ruined a ranking of a great site of mine that took lots of hard work to get into the 90K Alexa rank.

Hi Kim - I would simply look for what I call the KIM ROACH approach in a club of this nature:

Keyword research strategies and training including effective software to achieve meaningful keyword research.
Intelligent training in niche market viability studies.
Marketing lessons involving social bookmarking, article marketing and video marketing.

Roadmap showing the conversion process from having hottie sites to having money in the bank and good sales.
Optimised site creation with SEO techniques and no clutter that get the job done profitably.
Award winning email campaigns to achieve high conversions.
Copywriting strategies for a memorable, profitable and attention-getting pitches.
Hosting and domain registration strategies for SEO effectiveness and an air of gravitas.

But seriously, all the issues above are important - particularly keyword research - and the tools for it available out there
are flawed and require laborious manual corroboration. In fact I now do it by hand after consulting the Google adwords tool.

(I am really submitting the KIM ROACH suggestion as an idea sparker more than anything else. I hope it supplies a spark of
    genius to your deliberations.)

    Bestest, Pete

    Hi Kim,

I'd like to start by saying that I think you're an awesome marketer.

As far as helpful content (for your new site) is concerned; I think your site would stand out from "the rest" if you addressed the issue of personal development... More specifically... I think most people don't have the right "mind set" to succeed as marketers. Thus, even if you provide the best tools and techniques -- it really wouldn't matter. If the issue of "mind set" is not addressed, your students (I'm guessing a LOT of them) will not take the necessary actions to succeed.

Perhaps you could tell us how YOU got motivated. What drove you to take action when you first got started? What drives you now? How do you conquer your "fears of failure"?

Kim, you always put out great content. It's unfortunate that people (who are crippled with the wrong mind set) will never put it to use.

    Just my thoughts.

    Hi Kim,

There are many courses available that gives step by step blueprint & I think to beat all of them, we need to do something differently and become one of the best IM training portal.

You should do Live Webinars, where you can show all your members what exactly they need to do, the good thing about this is you can share your screen with us (no more boring audio webinar), its gonna be a video webinar and all members will be able to post their question live, you could also unmute a single person to talk to him.

This will make Super Affiliate Club one of the best IM training portal.

    Greetings Kim,

Like many people, I have been a member to just about all of the big-name Internet marketing membership websites. For most, I leave after the seven-day trial. Why? Because for the most part everything has been rehashed repeatedly, only with a different spin.

Who else would like to join the super affiliate club and receive 100% original content from someone who has actually been there?

I believe your membership should include everything from every other program available. No one has yet strung together a website that has included everything from around the web. As it stands, each website as its own particular target audience; those who like to market e-books, those who like to do article marketing, free blogs, PPC, ect. But there is absolutely no one that not only demonstrates what they do and it includes all of the other topics.

If you really want to make a website that people cannot quit, particularly one that people like I will join and never leave, put together a website that includes every different type of Internet marketing and include a step-by-step on how to do it.

We have all seen the numerous "if you want to learn the best in X method of marketing, you should join this link, which just happens to be an affiliate link."

The intermediate people are smart enough to know when they are being upsold and it is a huge turnoff.

One particular program that is hugely popular on the Internet is 30DC. They have a fabulous program but they also have a very high attrition rate because the exact same methods such as getting someone in the door with free stuff, is exactly what they are doing to people who join the course. Then they send out 3-5 additional products that "you don't have to buy but would make everything easier."

My honest suggestion is to include everything you possibly can, charge a fair rate no matter how high that is, and teach us everything you can in this one site so that we don't need to go somewhere else. And in addition, include everything in the subscription fee. Stay away from bonuses and up sells that will turn off the intermediate marketers.

Some of us have an idea what we are doing, we simply want a place to go to converse with other marketers and have videos to watch that can refresh information that might have gotten lost.

Include modules and call them what they are:
    article marketing
    ppc
    affiliate links
    top-down redirects
    e-mail marketing
    outsourcing
    product creation
    nonprofit support
    PLR content
    a ready-made niche idea a month

And finally, my biggest suggestion. Don't include stuff just to inflate the price. Another huge turn off is when they include hosting that you will never use, tools that do the same job as tools you already know and are familiar with so you will never use, and extra "interviews."

If you are honest with the people who want to know how to do this for a living and be as upfront as possible, we will respond and stay with you. Believe me, there are a lot of us looking for a good home. Can you provide that home?

    Steve

    Hi Kim

First of you always provide great content. So thank you.

It is quite amazing when I read about other peoples struggles to make money online. It just shows me that what I am going through is not unique at all. A lot of times it feels that I am the only one not making money then you read other peoples comments and it feels like they are describing exactly my situation. Then I realize that I am not alone.

What I came to realize though is that a lot of us understand what IM is all about and what we need to do, but we struggle to put the puzzle together when it comes to the action steps.

Also we get impatient because we need to make money quickly and then loose focus because we feel that this method is taking too long and then we move on to the next method without giving the first method all our efforts.

I know we are supposed to build a business and not treat IM as a hobby. So I would like it if I could receive training on how to build a business that will start with making money relatively quickly which I can then use to ramp up my business one step at a time so that I can make enough money to do IM full time.

Also I don't know if this is outside of the scope of the training you are planning but I would like more resources and training for the international marketer. We are sometimes handicapped when it comes to receiving money through Paypal or getting approved by CPA networks. Would love some strategies or methods to help the international marketer.

Lastly I would like to see case studies or over the shoulder campaign building that will not only show step by step how to make money but also shows us when to quit a campaign without wasting to much time and money on a losing campaign.

    Thank you

    Carl

  • I would love to see a case study for an affiliate site implementing ALL your strategies. from page setup, implementation of tracking devices, marketing strategies the whole works from Start to finish...

Maybe You could let a select few of the select few be a part of the study and then later release on the club.

    All the best

    Kim,
The biggest problem the newbies face is to how to generate money quickly to pay for the courses or the membership fees. Most of the so called gurus would give you only piecemeal information and then asking to purchase further products.
I would suggest that you include a blueprint to atleast be able to generate at least maybe USD 100 a month so that the peson will make even extra effort the subsequent months to generate extra money
  • terraestella
    Private lessons.
I think it would be great if you could provide private lessons to all of the members. You could make a list of all the members and sort them according to their joining dates. Then you could be a tutor to one member per week (or weekend), work with him/her on any part of IM they desire, and then let everyone else know about the stuff they learned -- this could be done in a form of pdf or multimedia reports, so everyone here would have fresh weekly reports on top notch, up to date internet marketing.
I hope this suggestion wins me my lifetime membership to Super Affiliate Club. (I also hope that I would have the honor of being the first member to get private lesson weekend ;)

    hello kim,

what holds most of "us" back, is not lack of will, but gaps of information. i know as a nearly 40 crock that i missed the boat in some respects, and almost all of MY stumbling blocks are technical - ie, the HOW of implementing what is in your head and translating that you your web life.

i think that there is a massive market of very hungry "needing kim" types, as your greatest strength is in collating VALUABLE info, and making it easy to use and implement but by bit.

as seen on the many excellent comments, there are SO many avenues/quetions. i think what YOU do best, is to channel info well, thus, to be a good affiliate, i think one needs to align your stie/work/modus with that of your skills and personality - thus if someone does writing well - how best to augment the efforts, if someone netwotks well .... SO much of what the internet offers, is follow "my guru" method, without consideration of what THEIR "clients" actually need. the net does NOT need millions of guru robots, but rather a mentor such as yourself, who acknowledges the needs where they are, and offers niche support to the visions and goals of many.

anyhow, a bit verbose and fluffy, but thanks anyhow:) stacey
  • Here are some ideas from me :

    1. Have a software that only members of the Super Affiliate Club (SAC) have access to that will enable each member to vote for each others social bookmarks to get more traffic. For example, Digg, stumble upon, etc. Members of SAC input their URL and details and other Digg it and stumble it.

    2. Carry it a step further and have members input their acticle URL into the above system (submitted to the 3 top articles directories) and get members to visit the link, rate it AND vote for it at the social bookmarking sites. This should help get more views as well as backlinks. This will hopefully (depending on the competition) help the article get into the "most viewed category" also.

    3. The same software can be used for members to submit their blogs. squidoo lenses, etc and others can rate it, leave a comment with a track back URL or links to their required sites.

    4. Members can list their videos and podcasts submitted and the same can be rated, viewed and voted for. Again, we can get backlinks from high PR sites.

Just like JV's are known to be the best source of targeted traffic, we can work together as a team to help each other get google love - the ultimate outcome would anyway depend on the offer.

    God Bless us all.Amen

  • I would like to see the real affiliate secrets. The ones that super affiliates really use to set up a campaign from beginning to end. I see so many that show one aspect of a campaign, but leave too many blanks to be filled in.

I love your 10X formula. It has really helped me increase traffic and backlinks, but that does not always translate into sales.

    The complete campaign checklist
The affiliate links that work, hoplinks, or recommends,
How to set up a redirect that works
If Clickbank is so good, then why is it so hard to set up campaigns that really work. Most people don't purchase the first time and their emails are captured so that the vendor makes the sale at a later time, but the affiliate does not get the credit.
How do you link to a specific vendor page with your Clickbank ID?

The best way to get inexpensive traffic to your site
The types of sites that sell best.
    Simple SEO
How to Set Up a Simple Membership Site and make it work.
How to Set up multiple ID's for backlinks
How to keep track of all of your backlink id's, passwords, accounts, etc.
How to manage your business without spending all of your time in activities that do not really bring you any profit.
How to work with Get Response and not just Aweber.
How to set up one campaign that will really make $50/ day profit.
How to keep from spending all of your money on Google.
Is it worth it to spend time on Facebook and Twitter?
How much time to spend in Forums and set up signature files that really work.
How to really attract traffic to your blog and make that blog profitable.
Is Adsense really worth the trouble. When is it worth the trouble and when is it not worth the trouble?
Just tell me what tracking software to get.
Do automated backlink services really work or are they a waste of time.
Is it worthwhile to use Google only, or can you set up profitable campaigns on Yahoo or Bing?
How can we make YouTube advertising videos that attract traffic to our sites?

I would love to see a program that a 19 yr old girl and her 57 yr old dad could do together. My daughter is going to have a baby in Dec. and will be staying home losing her income for a while. Dad on the other hand worries about losing his job with no fall back job. A complete do this, that, step program that hopefully leads to financial security for both.

    Hi Kim,

It's great news that you are setting up a membership site for your loyal fans, I am really waiting for something like this...

    1) Case Studies
I was with Corey Rudl's Secrets of My Success many years back, he had 2-3 live case studies & a site review when his team dissected the web sites and gave constructive pointers on the areas that needs improving. This not only benefits the site owner but also for other members as well.

    2) Interaction
Most of the membership sites from other Gurus are pretty much a one-way street. I am currently with 4 of them (different areas of discipline in IM) right now but will be dropping one of them. Reason being, I kept getting bombarded with heaps of JV products they have tied up with. The frequency is a little too frequent, to the stage of total rejection.

I would prefer timely newsletters with the occasional alert for any changes in that particular discipline. What I have been receiving from you is the best example, you send out nuggets that are of high quality & materials we can learn from - no rehashed B.S.

It will be terrific if once in a while, we get a personal encouragement note from the author, rather than cookie-cutter mass messages. Most of the people need the guidance, just like when you started. You had a good mentor and now that you have stepped up the plate... This will definitely spur your students to greater heights!

    3) Intermediate & Advanced Tutorials
I couldn't stressed how important this is for many of us. Many a times, some of us got stuck in a rut and we keep running on the same spot with no one to turn to; searching frantically high & low for a solution. The worst thing is, some listened to the wrong advice or spent more money trying to save the situation, only to find themselves being sucked deeper into despair.

I am now very wary of joining any more membership sites and their JV partners tempting you with their bonuses. Only the ones that stands out from the crowd like diamonds in the darkness will captivate the more seasoned students.

    4) Monthly Freebies

Marketing Tools, Keyword Research, SEO, List-Building, MRR & PLR Articles etc Every month you will feature a theme to brainstorm and show examples how to implement it effectively. With the free bonuses thrown in, it will certainly make our IM journey a lot easier.

    5) Forum

This is the place for the serious marketer to congregate & share with like minded marketers the latest techniques on the market. It will be categorized into different sections like Adwords, AdSense, Affiliate Marketing, Blogging, CPA, PPC, PPV, Domain Filpping, Creating Info Product, Press Releases etc

Now that you have created an inner circle, I can say that I am relief and at the same time excited, looking forward to what you have in store for us...

    Thanks, Kim.

    Warmest regards,
    Jet Quah

    Hi Kim,

First, thank you for all the incredibly great content you share. I'm a newbie that's been studying the vast content on the net about IM and without reservation, I can say you give the most value of any of the IM Gurus out there. There is soooo much information out there that it's easy to get information overload. But you are one of the very few people whose emails I look forward to receiving.

Now to your question. I'd like to see the following in the Super Affiliate Club:

    1. Complete IM information (SEO, Article Marketing, Video Marketing, Keyword Research, etc. - I know you have all the content bases covered) broken down into:
    - IM Categories
    - Levels > Newbie, Intermediate, Advanced
    - Newbie Starter Kit (Suggested steps for newbies to follow)
    2. Multimedia Content - Articles, Videos, Podcasts
    3. More IM Case Studies (Great one on the 1 Article - 7,640 Vistors)
    4. Weekly IM Call/Webinar
    5. Hot Seat Reviews (Review member sites, marketing plan, etc in real time on webinar)
    6. Product review - Review various IM products
    7. Website & Squeeze page templates
    8. Suggested Software - Free & Paid
    9. Forum

The last one is important but I see so few marketers talking about it...I guess because they are busy pushing a product. I'd love to see more information on the BUSINESS side of the IM business. Things like:

    - Legal business structure. Do most IM professionals use LLC or something else? Do you setup a new business for each new niche or is everything under one company? Etc. (Ex. - Many real estate investors setup a new company for each property.)

    - How do IM professionals handle their accounting? Is it a good idea to keep all your money in a Clickbank or PayPal account or should you transfer it? Does it matter? Etc.

    - Best practices for storing and securing all your passwords for the numerous websites, social networks, etc.

    - Other business best practices (similar to a post you did on your typical business day)

    - General IM legal issues like the recent FTC ruling

I think this Super Affiliate Club would need to have personal mentorship to be able to call it Super Affiliate Club. Of course, this only applies to the ones that are having a hard time. Weekly reviews of progress until one can stand on his own. This way, everyone can finally make Internet money.
  • Features I want:

    1. What sort of content, features, resources, and training would you like to see inside the Super Affiliate Club?

As a novice in this area I would like to see information about SEO techniques for the small service-industry business. What advice, suggestions and recommendations would you give to someone who, for example, do not sell a tangible product but offers a service? What advice would you have for a photographer or a wedding consultant who are interested in affiliate marketing?

Also, and more specifically, can you provide "best practices" for both website and blog design when preparing for affiliate marketing? What are the best colors, fonts, photos, etc? Additionally, which affiliate networks are considered the best? Is there a "best" one or does it depend on many different factors as to which one is best for me?

I would like to see perhaps a section for those who are "new" to affiliate marketing - best practices, how to get started and the best way to build a following - especially for the service-side industry. In my video production business I do not sell a product and most of my customers are normally just one-time only consumers. What are the best practices and advice for those who do not sell products?

And, what advice do you give in the area of time management. As a professional, do you break up your daily routine into manageable parts? For example, from 8 to 10 you do this and from 2 to 4 you do the other, etc?

Finally, thanks for all that you've shared - you're a wonderful and inspiring resource!
  • John Kane
    Hi Kim,

As this is intended to help us become a Professional affiliate there are several things I would like to see.

Personally I feel short videos are preferred content with guides or checklists to follow along with.

Resources could be software and/or plugins to help our processes.

As there are a flood of low quality products in the markets, proven methods to weed out the clunkers and ways to select winners to promote would be sweet.

A monthly Top 10 list of new products would be nice too.
I would love to see emphasis on markets other than the "Make Money Online" type as I feel this area is due for some heavy review by the Alphabet agencies.

With the intent to 'build a business' training in how to care for a new customer and ensure they become a lifetime buyer.
Along with that idea, how to build an outsource team to run things.

Of course there are countless things to learn and master to become a Super Affiliate like getting traffic and converting them to buyers. As well as lead generation methods, copywriting, PPC vs search, Legal issues, Content management, help desk, payment, tracking, etc.

A weekly call would be great.
Special Offers, case studies, Forum, things to avoid, must have tools, etc.

As it appears video continues to become very important if not out right mandatory to compete, information on general production editing and distribution methods, tools and tips.

Best practices for Branding both free and paid.

Monthly call-in time or email mentoring would be lovely too :)

Probably not debatable that there is a great need for techniques to keep us on track and staying motivated along with stress management techniques.

Not really anything unique from me here but,I would very much like to be a part of this group and if chosen I will certainly accept the post :)

    Thanks for the opportunity Kim!

  • Robert
    Hi Kim,
I would hope to find items related to Affiliate Marketing but not the same old same old. I would like to learn to be a smart affiliate not just a hype sales person. To grow slow and solid as opposed to these marketers who pump out crazy numbers. (Like the average person can really accomplish?) The biggest help would be software and looking over your shoulder. We can all learn if we chose to invest the time. Getting to implement easier would catch my eye.
I am sure your membership will be of value and rather then try to win something, I will wait and see if this is a goed fit? So far your info is great.
I am still blown away by the Mindmap... that was prize enough. Thanks again Kim. Bob O

    Hey Kim,

I'd love to see real world 'how I did it" case studies/success stories. So many guru's and experts write about how to get traffic, more opt-ins and make more money but they fail to show you exactly how they have done it.

So many newbies have read as much as they need about how to make money online but they are never shown real world step-by-step success stories.

  • noorover
    Hello Kim,
What I am looking for is very effective traffic tactics not found in other ebooks and videos. For example; I am getting more than 25000 visitors a month from a free firefox plugin I created in a weekend. Non programmers can outsource to create simple plugins for $20 to $50. Top ranked Youtube Videos can be leased for $10 or $20 per month. 5000 visitors a month for 10 bucks is a good deal. Nobody is telling such effective techniques. I am looking for that kind of stuff in the inner circle.
  • The best content which would be appreciated by all is "how to" videos and articles. Right from what a total dummy newbie would understand to the advanced levels.

I believe the greatest hurdle is not building a website, choosing a niche, etc but it is getting TARGETED TRAFFIC that converts.

You already have great ideas for traffic. Obviously one cannot implement all and stay sane. What worked best for you and how is something I believe all would like to know.

Tracking is something I have heard very few people talk about and even fewer people demonstrate how they track. But it is clear that without tracking you are just shooting in the dark. Content on How to track, what to track, analysis of your tracking and future strategy based on your tracking results would be awesome.
  • deannapfister
    Hi Kim,

    Your mind map was fantastic!

An idea for your Super Affiliate Club, it might be nice if someone could have an "Internet Marketing Buddy". Someone who is at the the same level knowledge-wise. Two people (or even three or four) would give you someone to talk to that's going through the same things. Plus, a partner or two would go a long way in keeping you on track. You'd want to keep up with your buddy and be accountable to them.

    Deanna

P.S. I love your tips and knowledge regarding traffic! I'm still in the creation stage but I have copious notes once I'm "there" to bring traffic to my website(s).
  • Hey Kim dearest,

Wow, what would I like to see...
    1) I would like to see over your shoulder exactly what you are doing to get results, not only paid marketing but unpaid ones too.
    2) I would like to see you show us exactly how to go about contacting people who we would like to partner with or guestblog etc for.
3)I would like for members to be able to submit success stories because hearing about how someone has succeeded will greatly inspire us to succeed too.
4)I would like us to have a special day where we would have a webinar. A question and answer webinar would be even better.
    5) I would like us to create an instant messaging platform where we can ask questions in real time and have them answered by either yourself or the other members on board.
    6) I would like members to be able to post things that have worked for them in video format so we can look over their shoulders too.
    7) From time to time I would like us to invite important leaders in the IM world to come and give us an expose of how they also do things or to have a one on one chat session with you and then you can give us the meat and sauce of their techniques.
    8) I would like you to show us how to recruit JV's, how to promote for Jv'S and how to quickly promote a product with a limited amount of time to get fast results.
    9) I would like you to give us your split test data to see which websites really pump out traffic to your marketing campaigns.
    10) I would like you to share with us tools you use to automate your marketing.
11)I would like special tools to be created just for the members which help to automate the marketing process.
12)I would like us to organize a get together maybe once a yr when we can all meet up and share more ideas LIVE....!!!

These are key points that would make super affiliate club a BIG success!!!

    Alex :)
  • mtopher
I would like to see step by step training, where you give ideas to your students and help them actually make money. Of course only if they perform the steps you suggest.

as a newbie to the blogging community, i would like a page of inspiration from the inside circle. i would like the personal stories of how blogging has come to every person, in their own way and words. i would like it to have a lead in from the writer and also the top three ways blogging has changed their lives.
as a beginner who is not computer suave and is just dipping my toes into the medium, i have not really done the research of the personae who have had their personal success, at any level and what drives them to continue on in this newest of genres.

it would give me the onus to continue on, forming, writing and learning the blog.

really thank you kim for being such a great teacher!

    thank you.

    Hi Terry here from Australia.
My comment will be simple. I regard myself a student and I expect Guru's, Teachers like urself to be real leaders by providing good guidence to ur member students. we count on U to help us on our journey. It's not me to say I need this and that as I look for ur good advice and guidence. so honesty is the key here and God will bless U for that.
Over the last 2 years I have lost everything from internet scam artist. now looking for a fresh start. So a freemembership will certainly help me with the tools and advice I need.

Content creation! Content is King, to learn how to create great content, like yours, from the Queen of Content would be brilliant.
  • You are doing great job Kim, You are the one of online marketer I admire. I love your approach with your service not like others who just concerntrate on milking money from their prospect.I am sure you going to do best of you to help others, so many ideas and comments down there can put on your work.Wish you all the best and Thank You
  • Andres
I would like to see a step by step approach for how to create your websites. This is a must.

It would be great if you had how to videos and then had a webinar where we could ask questions.

Of course driving traffic is a most. It would be great for you to show us how you do article marketing and what tools you use.

if you are going to do product creation. it would be great if you did a detailed how to webinar. Especially if you could do the product creation live such as a phone call or teleseminar.

If you use PPC, how you do this.
  • triniprince
Pick a member (or few) for one on one tutoring each and every month nothings beats individual instruction. For example, You could give 20 people the same info and some of them will apply it correctly however most of them will not therefore individual tutoring would be ideal.

I'd like to see a "Results Club" that details the successes or failures of Super Affiliate Club members' progress. This could probably fall under your monthly competition

Something like, "I followed this recommendation, here is exactly what I did, and here are the measured results over a specified period of time." Prove SAC's methods work and boost confidence in Super Affiliate Club and its guidance with proof of excellent results as members try your knowledge base.

Too many sites or promtional campaigns promise the world but disappear from the face of the internet. After they promoted something with testimonials promising similar results and "supposedly" sold out to eager buyers who believe the results of the program will pertain to them - well, we never hear of the huge success stories that follow. That makes me question the marketers credibility.

Before they can prove their promotion lived up to the promotional campaign's promises to the new "members" expectations, these sites disappear or become tight lipped about the results the promotion actually delivered, yet they sold out based on claims made in their promotional claims. I'm talking about real world results from real world attempts, not beta testing used to build a hypothesis.

Every time I did not buy a product, I refrained from believing the hype, but would have bought later once the promotion had settled in and had a chance to prove its worthiness and effectiveness for "my dollar" by reporting the results of someone else who bought into it.

What a great opportunity to turn first time "not buyers" into second time "buyers". You would already have those names on your list as "not buyers" and could recycle them into "buyers" instead of "tire kickers" by addressing and overcoming their original objections.

I recognize that some people would fail for many different reasons and this would taint the overall success ratio. Those folks would become their own category of "no attempt made" Maybe a simple worksheet to prove implementation of a SAC tactic would narrow the population to those who really tried.

However you decide to arrange it, I think a "results club" to establish value and differentiate SAC from all the others who make the same claims by their methodology.

    Hi Kim,

    1) I think sharing best practices with interviews from interent marketers who genuinely want to help others.

    2) Walk through building a website from scratch and driving traffic through various avenues. Follow up on a week to week basis with results.

    3) Q and A sessions answering 20 questions at a time via email.

    Thank you, kindly,

    3) Links
... detailed step by step directions ( with resources) on how to generate backlinks to your money site detailing tracking methods on traffic generation and possible outsourcing methods with step by step videos.

    4) open forum with opportunity to suggest new venues to explore for monetization and traffic generation.
  • MY SANTA"S LIST FOR KIM

1 A weekly "fireside chat" kind of like a coaches pre game
warm up talk that would encourage us.
Something that would be more of a general nature
to get us excited about the coming week.
Maybe recognize some of us who had done something
helpful for someone in the forum.
They would be more like talks that Winston Churchill gave
to the people of England to Inspire them during World War II.
Maybe a tall order...but I think you could do it Kim.

2 I would like to see some tips on staying focused,
not getting sidetracked ..doing first things first,
Time management, note keeping, filing systems
    finding stuff, saving stuff, security,etc

3 I would like to see some Ethics in marketing
that teaches a responsible method of building
good relationships with your list. Something that
goes into the area of what is and what isn't a proper
upsell. When to slow down mailings to your list,
When to stop sending offers and selling to them
right after they just bought something. And how to
respond more on an individual basis when you
    have a growing list.

4 I would like to see some discussions on the future
of marketing on the internet. What comes next after
all this hoopla on list building.
What's next after email marketing. With decreasing
attention spans how to accomplish "split-second"
marketing. How to do subliminal "wash-over" marketing
that maybe brings people to a site with only one image on it
and an extremely simple task that changes every day
or at random times. Something that doesn't require
    a "Squeeze page"
Lets face it that word is not good "intent" for honest friendly
    relationship building.
    Marketing without a list.
With this new marketing a Traffic Wizard
    may not need a list.
The adendum to this is....since many of us don't have big
lists, maybe we could be trained now on ways to get around
the "Big List" syndrome and still make money.

5.I guess I better speak for myself here and not for everyone.
But then again, maybe there are more people out there like me.
    It sems that
a lot of the focus directs people towards training that has
the goal of a six figure income. It's kind of an all or nothing training.
In other words..if you ever figure out how to make a few bucks
you will be on the path to six figures.
Well, I would like some training that focuses on building a smaller
more managable business. In other words...from the get go
the systems are scaled to a "Mom and Pop Store" mentality.
Maybe I'm dreaming..maybe that's not how the internet works.
But that would be something that fits in my head a little better.
Being specific, as far as training goes..it could be like the seniors
meal in the restaurant..a little smaller, a little less expensive,
but still tasty and productive. This goes along with the idea
of being focused, knowing what you want and working
towards your goal in small bite sized steps.
This is more of a shift in focus and intent(training) than
    in nuts and bolts training.

    6. Lastly..The Guru's are all selling, promoting, giving training on,
and generally shouting from the roof tops.
"Get yourself a Membership Site and start collecting
    a pasive residual income".
This is in a way ....full circle for some of these guru's
who got out of Network Marketing into Internet Marketing
and are now trying to spin the network marketing model
back into their business. And for a good reason. They know
from experience that the real good money..The Beach Money"
comes from that profoundly fair and (when you're doing it right)
    very lucrative MLM model.
I would like to see some training specifically on how to
integrate that into the affiliate internet model.
No offence to Jonathan Budd and Mike Dillard but I would prefer
to take training on this from Kim Roach.

I guess that's my Santa's list for now.
Thanks for gettings the juices flowing Kim...
Maybe I'll spin this into an article and
get it out to the article directories..like you taught us to do
    in your 10x"s training...
Onward and Upward Brothers and Sisters
    Take Care ..... R P

    Hi Kim:

This is a great idea to gain insight for your new venture. I am always in awe of the way you approach things so I really don't feel I will be adding any new ideas but maybe by reminding you of something you forgot could earn some attention, so here I go...

What I have noticed in the process of learning skills regarding the marketing online thing is that the most important aspects that one will need to move forward always seem to go back to the basics... So, what do I mean... Let's take hosting for example, yes all hosting companies have tutorials dedicated to their specific service... However, it's always very basic knowledge, they never go into depth about how to manage your accounts, and how best to utilize the service, it's always simply generalized....

Then, there are the many facets of organizing my projects from start to finish, and SEO, this isn't as difficult to learn as it is to implement correctly... Test, test, testing, I can't wait for some instruction on the specific steps you have developed to cover the full spectrum surrounding a campaign from start to finish but more importantly when exactly and to what extent...

Now, I realize that I have asked for a ton of content already but since you yourself look to over deliver at every turn I will as well include asking for business plan that you use to keep track of your progress at various intervals in the process starting from what I should be doing before I start creating any webpages to how I will keep track of my progress leading up to year 5-10 to 15...

And, while your at it, how about building networks? I am talking here about not only marketers sharing ideas but also what we need to do regarding maintaining the right mind set... I would like to see a place with in the membership that includes members exchanging ideas on staying motivated day to day while at the same time exchanging mind, body, spirit techniques that we run across that will be helpful in maintaining a positive attitude throughout getting started and following through the years to come...

I realize there are also many aspects of building a home based business that can be out sources but to me if I don't understand the process then how can I out source to begin with, so the technical aspects of setting up my home system to best take advantage of the technology would hurt...

I will end with out sourcing itself, where would I go to find quality people? I will still have to train them so including videos on how to train my outsource workers from my membership here would in itself very unique to any membership... The fact is I will not be able to do everything as I am certain you do not so having a training area for the people I will employ from around the globe would be awesome!

I could go on for sure but it would not make much sense to do it here and now as I said in the beginning I am not going to plant any new nuggets of insightful ideas but if I have in any way contributed it is only because I am motivated by the concept of your venture as a long time fan of your work!

Thanks for the opportunity to be of service...

    Peter Trapanese
  • Hi Kim,
I have no doubt that whatever you offer will be so far above anything that I can think of! I loved the way you showed over you shoulder how you got 1000 visitors to a brand new website in the 7 day course you offered earlier this fall. I would like to see how you find these traffic sources -- do you stumble upon them, learn about them from fellow marketers. I would also like to learn how you set up your business -- how you stay motivated, how you come up with your product ideas and how you create them. Truly, anything you can think of will be so worth it! I've learned more from you than any other marketer!

Thank you for the opportunity to learn even more! -Norene
  • Hi Kim,

I think a monthly sales target goal will be good. Like for month 1, that reach for our first $100. Then you can increase our goal along the way for people who stick with the club for a longer time.
  • Kirk
Like many others, after spending a lot of my money and much more of my time on programs from the so-called "gurus" I have a good idea of what I would like to see. Instead of asking for specific strategies, tips, and training on this and that, I'd like to see the things that will help people to become successful
My wish list for the Super Affiliate Club would include the following:
    - Content and training that is complete. The "gurus" seem to leave out a few items that they don't want to share that keep many people just short of actually making money. Many people don't quite get to the point of making money and give up.
    - Training may be broken up into steps or modules over time. But as long as it's complete, and we can be a part of Q and A, we can make sure we do everything correctly and don't get stuck on something we don't know how to do. People who get left behind often quit.
    - A Forum where we can vote on what we need help with next. I imagine there will be certain things you want to share or teach as we go along in a certain order. Whenever possible, let us vote on what we want to learn next in case the group really needs help now on something you are not looking at bringing forth yet. Use our needs to help guide the program content based on what is going on with our business today, so we can make money tomorrow.
A forum also lets us help each other and if it is moderated you can keep us from feeding each other the wrong information and avoid costly mistakes. Let's support each other and when we can, help someone that is really trying and working hard to get through an area that they need help with.
    - Interview members that are gaining ground in different areas. They may not be making money today but if they are doing something really well on the way to profit city, let's all learn about it now, instead of later.
    - Be accessible, either yourself, assistants, or moderators. Sometimes someone just needs an answer on how to do something, even something simple like who to choose for an auto responder and why. And they have to wait until they find an answer they can trust which could lose them days that could be going towards the next step. You can't make people take action, and many won't. But you can help those that are ready to take action keep moving forward and not lose momentum.
    - Solid foundations. Teach us to build solid foundations in our endeavors that we can depend on to work next month and next year because it's a fundamental aspect of internet marketing. If we're on your list, we're on many other lists and those people are sending us offers that will "make us millions with little to no work needed". They want to offer fluff that doesn't work, black hat that won't work next week, or some automated program we "need to get today" because it "just works" and it's our last hope.
Honesty, quality, and support will help people to find success that would otherwise give up. Everything I've seen from you so far has been excellent. I hope to see the above in your program when you open it up.

Kim, first of all the Free Mindmap was phenominal. Thanks so much. If it was a sample of what is inside your Super Affiliate Club then their is not much more I could ask for as you have probably thought of it all. :)

Really though, you are one of a handful of marketers that I have found who is honest, hardworking and that teaches real principles that you actually use everyday in order to teach others how to become successful.

    My hats off to you.

Hi Kim, Greetings from down under (NZ)…

…and may a say, what a great idea you have 'cause I have two thoughts that would certainly be of great assistance to newbies like me.

    1. "The Mine Field Map for Newbies!" and...
    2. "Free Hosting," (like what your friend Chris Farrell offers).

I decided to turn to the net after losing my job in Feb (this year).
My enthusiasm was stung badly when I realized that truthfulness and integrity wears pretty thin on the internet and that ‘money making opportunities’ really equated to ‘great scams!’

The first ray of hope for me came this month when I stumbled upon your site, and Chris Farrell’s (on the same day, I might add).
I've wasted a lot of time! but, I’ve learned quite a lot, too! However, I'm having a little difficulty putting the pieces of the jigsaw puzzle together.
To add to my frustration, I don't have a budget to speak of so I can't purchase products unless I spend a lot of time and thought validating the very 'best' product with what little money I have.

When I received your Traffic Mind Map, I thought to myself, "What an awesome idea! I wish there was something like this for newbies to cut to the chase with launching their internet biz."
Like your Traffic Map, this Minefield map will detail all the nuances relating to the significant steps to success as an IM: A COMPLETE OVERVIEW!

It won't just include step-by-step procedures, but also
    • Time frames: estimating do-able achievements,
    • Essential Tools: like Aweber, Camtasia, etc, and why they are needed,
    • Expenses: costs involved for tools / services so budgets can be planned,
    • Profit Time Indicator: do-able achievements equating to Return On time Invested. This will be a huge incentive if we could gauge: “How long it will take before we make a Buck!” – to put it crudely.

I read and hear so much about how much money gurus spent to finally succeed. Conversely, it would make a world of difference for me (and other newbies entering the field) if we had some idea of expenses so that we can prepare a budget and be totally confident that we're not going to fall short of our expectations.

Now, such an overview like this - detailed like your Traffic Map, is truly what I'd call: "The IM Holy Grail!" :D

    FREE HOSTING.
What an awesome symbiotic relationship you'd have with your fan base/clients if you offered a REAL value service like free hosting!
It would certainly be the icing on the cake and give real worth to a monthly membership fee because your fans will stay with you forever. That's a lot of bickies per annum.

Well, I certainly hope my "two pennies" for thought might win the day for you.
Even more importantly, I HOPE I'M ONE OF THE FORTUNATE 3 who wins the contest! :D

    Cheers
    Justyn

I love some of the ideas that have been posted
but without permanent staff or serious outsourcing
it would be impossible to offer even a fraction of
    what members want or expect.

So, after reading through the comments I came to
the conclusion that the only viable system would
    be a "Mentoring Partnership".

Let me try to explain what I mean by "Mentoring Partnership"

Kim - you take on 20 pupils and mentor them through
a specific system ie. "How To Make Money by Blogging"

Once these 20 pupils have completed and mastered
this "system" we offer a mentoring program
by building a second tier of pupils.

Each of the original 20 take on 5 new pupils each
which they must then mentor through the specific course.

Once those 100 pupils have completed and mastered the course
they must take on 5 new pupils each to mentor.

    A MLM of mentorship.

You charge very affordable mentoring per course -
say $20. You take $10 and the other $10 gets
filtered via the downline. How the "Partnership"
also comes into play - The course
will include the teaching of certain products
ie. Market Samurai, Wishlist Member Script and
well placed email marketing (Not Spam).

Each "Mentor" then gets a percentage of the mentoring fees
and affiliate sales of the pupils they mentored
    - say 2 or 3 levels of downline.

To qualify for "commissions" the mentor must be
registered and be actively involved by teaching and
    assisting their "downline".

    Everyone gains by
    1. Learning new skills
    2. Working within a "formal" framework
    3. Taking action
    4. Taking responsibility by being a mentor

"Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day.Teach a
man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime."

The Monday Night Chats is a great idea. That , along with a 24 hour forum, updated FAQ's and some kind of incentive to get the members to help each other by sharing their knowledge and experience in internet marketing. This will create a team spirit
    Good luck , James
  • Personally, I like the fact that you remain on top of the marketing game and your content is exceptional.

In addition, I visuallize a club with members getting together via telephone and/or webcast sharing, assisting each other and forming joint ventures, partnerships, bartering services, etc., and generally helping each other to succeed using what you've introduced and what we've learned. Perhaps, the creation of a membership board with requests, interests and brief overview of each week's meetings. Dig for Information and Who Knows... Sessions. These sessions allows others to bring something to the table.

When it comes to affiliates or selling others' products, you will have a better understanding of the person and/or product (s), as well as have people who you can get advice from regarding product affliates who you are not familiar with.

Not only will we have great content, but people, means, avenues and the wherewithal for reaching our and helping others reach their goal (s).

I would like to see complete product creation and the marketing strategies you use to introduce a new product.

It would be beneficial to actually SEE how to create the products, including videos and audio creation. There are so many products out there to make videos and audios, that it's confusing, and I've yet to see any really good demonstrations on HOW to use this equipment, along with your best recommendations.

I would also like to see exactly how you do keyword research, and come up with the niche you want to market in the first place. Then how do you decide which keywords to 'jump on', and what aids your decisions.

So much of niche creation is vague in helping one to know how to put it all together. With answers to the above, along with steps to product creation, I think you'd have an incredible product for the membership. :)

    Best to you,

    Olaina

    Hi Kim,

    I would like to have:

    1) Your expertise view on the current and upcoming online trends and your recommended actions. For example, the FTC new ruling and what we should do. In short, what we should do to remain lucrative running an online busness.

    2) Live Webinars where you answer questions. This can include interviews with other experts.

    3) Tested and proven softwares like...keyword research software, PPC software, etc. Please remember to twist the arms of the creator and ask for a discount. :-)

    4) techniques and strategies to sell hard goods.

    5) How to be lucrative in CPA.

    5) a list of reliable dropshippers.

    6) Cheap, reliable Outsourcing services.

    7) the "blacklist". This should include unethical people whom you have previous bad working experince with.
  • Will G.
Plug and play squeeze pages would be great, along with easy web site building tools that optimize for SEO. Also keyword research tools, competitive analysis tools, detailed modules on specific subjects like article writing and using social media to boost page rank, and special "guest" seminars on topics of interest like web site flipping.

I like the idea of an active forum that incorporates a "badge" system to identify and honor those who have achieved certain milestones, like first $1000 earned.

    -Will

p.s. I feel I should point out that the banner at the top of this page has a typo in it: "Marketer's" should be Marketers, because it's a simple plural and not a possessive noun.
  • Richard Bannister
Hmm, all the comments below are excellent, and I'm sure many will be covered in the course. But, I think there is an overarching and inclusive need that must be answered. (at least for beginners like me)

And that is: What will convince me to actually do this and to stick with it? Can I set up and operate an online business that will be enjoyable and provide a decent income? (not to become a millionaire, of course!) Do I need to be a super computer techie?

That motivation, that desire to wake up and get to the computer. To do it day in and day out. To know that, with intelligent effort, this will pay off.

From the comments it seems that many of your audience is more experienced, and maybe that's who you want to work with. However, if you can draw in and hold hesitant beginners you not only increase your audience and influence, but overcome the dread drop out rate.

I believe this is "the first principle" and I also think that with your common sense, no hype (at all) approach you can figure out how to do this. Big challenge for you. I'm looking forward to working on your course.

    Thank you, Richard
  • Mike
I learned about you through Chris Farrell's membership site. He refers to you as the "traffic queen." I would hope that you would teach in a similar style as far as explaining things step by step with the beginner in mind. I would like to see a forum where members can help each other out. You might want to have a few webinars featuring special guests.
  • Hi Kim, Wow there are all ready a lot of great ideas here, my mistake for sleeping in.
Knowing how you strive to over deliver valuable content, I am sure you have all ready planned huge resources for the club
such as how to videos, tutorials, mind maps and check lists.
competitive intelligence, case studies, traffic gen, etc.

If I could come up with something that I thank would make your "Super Affiliate Club" really rock in my eyes it would be this.

I would like to see the club have a way for us to connect with each other, to be able to help each other out, I also would like for those who really go the extra mile, to be able to get a little extra side coaching.

I would love some how, for the club to be able to participate in a group project, something to the effect, that when finished we would have a great product to use for our own list building, or other marketing en devours

I also would love to be a part of a club where we could have brainstorming sessions, a way to go over each others work a bit, and in the spirit of constructive non judgmental criticism help each other become better.

I have chosen these answers specifically because, with all the other products I have purchased, these are the areas the other marketing products do not offer.

I all ready know, your club is going to jammed packed with awesome info, It is my beleif that the social/accountable/coaching aspect is just as important as the "How To"

thank you for considering my answer

    Hi Kim
Thank you for the opportunity to give some input to your new site...here are my ideas...

In the interest of preventing spamming, there should be a specific area for affiliate products and giveaways. This will still give the members the opportunity to support each other without offending people who get upset by people constantly selling.

Building a list tutorials...there are so many people who have no idea how to build a list or even the importance of building a list and what it can do for their business

Step x step tutorials from creating a squeeze page, ftp, auto responders and why they are so important...this could become part of a monthly accountability program which could expand into all areas of internet marketing

    Thanks Kim
  • jerryhaug
I would like to see some serious tutorials on specifically how to set oneself up as an expert in a particular niche (one that is not internet marketing). For those of us that are not experts in anything particularly marketable to the masses, I would like to see how to pick a marketable niche that is comfortable for us individually, and how to start setting up our site/blog (whatever is best), articles, etc.; creating a free product to give away. For example just telling me to find a good niche and then create a giveaway product is not really enough. If I'm creating a list I'll need more than just the giveaway product. While realizing there are affiliate products to promote, I would like to know in detail how much material I'll need on my site/blog to make myself appear as an expert rather than someone who is just pushing affiliate products.
  • mikemulanax
Simple answer Kim. Set up the membership site as close as possible to Chriss Farrell's membership site. With that said, the Super Affiliate Club would be an instant success!
  • diana135
    Hi Kim.

There are a lot of awesome ideas here; I know that you provide amazing content and down-to-eath implementation techniques as is your style an personality.

I would love to see something in your SAC that will teach us how to gain the type of Singular Focus you practice every day. Larning this focus will go a long way in dealing with information overload and will helpus all spend time wisely to meet our goals.

I really liked the idea of a "Monday Evening Chat"...A Monday Evening Dialogue is even better, where a few members (pre-chosen) can be in a live discussion with you to learn more about a particular skill.

Finally, I would like to see some teaching about how to find a profitable niche...this is the toughest area in IM and is so important to future success....

I know the launch of SAC will be hugely successful, and look forward to Tuesday's launch!
  • I think the essence for me here would be on community and team work. We learn from you and then we learn from each other, so most of my suggestions are built around the ethos of ‘team work’.

I think a forum could work incredibly well as everyone seems very enthusiastic to feel like they are a part of something, all working towards the same goal and willing to help each other along the way.

    Some ideas for some areas of a forum would be;
    • A JV area where you can actively search out some partners to help within your specific niche either for ad swaps, some list building or a trade of services etc
    • An area to post questions that could be gathered each month and answered on a live call. (this would free up your time Kim or else forums can become a huge burden on your time)
    • An area for people to post reviews on products they have used for their marketing (strictly no affiliate links in the interests of fair reviews). It would be interesting to hear about new tools and the experience people have so we can make informed decisions on the best software/tools to invest in.
    • Affiliate area where we can leave details of our business with details on how other members can become affiliates (if they wish to do so).
    • Some segregation for newbies and more advanced marketers. Obviously access to both but some of the more basic queries could go in one place with the more advanced questions going into an area for folks who’ve already got a foot on the first few rungs of the ladder. I think that this would make it easier to ‘find stuff’ within the forum if it had some basic/intermediate/advanced type structure for questions/advice.
    • Moderators for the forum could perhaps earn their place by getting discounted or free membership to the course. A forum run by one person can get overwhelming on your time. We all have different skills so could perhaps moderate different areas.

If the community spirit is there then a database of member skills would be great. If you needed someone to do some graphics or copy etc you could look through the member directory first and perhaps we could offer a SAC insider discount. It would be nice to give the work out ‘in house’ before approaching anyone else. Maybe even a ‘skill swap’ could be arranged.

    So, to sum it up in the order you asked;

    Content:
    • I love watching your videos, I find your teaching really easy to absorb but maybe a little more chunked? So 15 – 20 mins rather than some that go on for almost an hour, this would be beneficial to me as a WAHM because I often have to segment my day around family, however I appreciate that it might not suit everyone. Then perhaps some ‘home work’ or tasks set so that people are encouraged to ‘do’ rather than just ‘watch’.
    • Some weekly videos in reaction to feedback would be good too.
    • I like to mix things up a bit and sometime a PDF is welcome, plus cliff notes for the videos where poss would be great too.
    • Case studies to learn from and also from members who might like to share any success stories along the way.

    Features:
    • Monthly Live Calls and the ‘project’ I mention below.
    • Some competitions and incentive schemes to keep us all on track

    Resources:
    • A database of members skills
    • A forum
    • A library of resources (actually, you could just pop your mindmap in it Kim) – the library could grow over time as members contribute their own ideas for resources they use and discover along the way.
    • A List of good affiliate sites
    • Some interviews with affiliate managers to get an idea of what they are looking for in affiliates and their sites

    Training:
    • I think a project would be great; maybe we could even do a bit of group collaboration on it. I think that to grow a site from scratch and see how it was built, the revenue it’s making and the complete insiders view would be really wicked. Maybe we could all play a part in the building and promotion of it and then whatever revenue is made could be donated to a chosen charity – maybe something like Kiva as we’re all entrepreneurs?

Not only would we all see the exact way to research, build, promote and launch a site, we can all help and raise some money – I think that’s a win/win all round.

    I imagine that you will be inundated with a huge amount of powerful ideas and already it suggests three things to me;

    1. We already feel like part of this team and would really like to be a member of the SAC
    2. We respect you as a teacher and an authority in the IM world. You’re cut from a different cloth, one that we’re all pretty psyched to wear!
    3. I think that the price needs to be realistic for everyone to make it in. I think that most people are looking to make their first bucks online or make drastic improvements on what they have learnt from rogue marketers and as much as your teaching is worth every penny – it could still be out of reach to many who are yet to make any money from marketing, depending on what you are pricing at.

Thanks for the opportunity to give you our thoughts, I’m sure your SAC will be amazing and you will put together a wonderful club.
  • kellyschuler
I, like many others out here need to be taught using a hands on approach. We not only need to read about a given subject, but be shown how to complete each task by walking though them step by step. If we are able to watch and follow you step by step setting up a successful website, email system, and the various other aspects of your project; then we can create our own along with you and complete our projects with success as well. It is a teaching style that is widely used and very effective. It then becomes a win win scenario for everyone.

Hey Kim & thanks for the contest,

I think the best thing you can offer is some type of "affiliate funnel". Okay, so what's that?

The biggest problem I think people have is actually getting the stuff done - too much time learning, analyzing and not enough practical application. Sooooo, my idea is to create a funnel that takes the member from start to finish on their own profit pulling site.

Inside the members area would be all kinds of learning stuff but only one funnel. The funnel could be: Do you want to do a launch or already established CB product? The member clicks on what they want then the funnel pushes them to Step #1 for launch (domain name, JV notify etc.) or Step #1 for CB product (finding product, gravity etc.)

The funnel would be a step-by-step approach to succeeding. This would also be a killer benefit for the member. Once the member had gone through the funnel they would actually have a site set up. Then you could have the "backlinking funnel", or "outsourcing funnel" You could create lots of funnels which I think would help both the member and you. The members would get practical application (not just lessons or training) and I think you would have increased retention.

I'm sure you're getting the idea. What I think would benefit members is a funnel type training program where they go through steps from start to finish. While you could program something like this I think you could also easily do it with email or a simple database. Each step in the funnel would say "do this" and "it should take this much time", click here when you're done. Also, if the member had to enter some kind of data this would help them create accountability and create a "next step" in the database.

Anyway, my 2 cents. Thanks again for the contest.
  • The best way to learn is throught user interaction and visual presentation. I would like to see:

1/ Step by step videos and a weekly live webinar with Q + A and critique of students work at the end.

2/ weekly worksheets / to do list / resources

3/ ready made templates or basic template which we can customized ourselves.

4/ members forum to share tips and ideas

5/ set up in the members forum jv / adswaps option where we each promote to each others list.

6/ set up in the members forum students showcase, where we show our work for critique by you and other students. You could have a competition for the best one. Or have it as a live webinar.

7/ You could have guest interviews via live webinar from top affiliate marketers as a bonus

8/ group meet up once or twice a year
  • What are the best set and forget marketing strategies ever, the ones that keep on delivering over and over? I know, I know that effort is definitely required, not trying to be a slacker, but some marketing strategies DO just keep delivering visitors. So along with putting in all the time, focus and commitment I'd really like to have 1 or 2 of those attached to each of my websites.
  • jimhickey
    Hi Kim,

First of all, thanks for the opportunity to express our ideas and desires. I think it provides great insight into the benefit you and Super Affiliate Club will offer.

Beyond all the little technical tasks associated with a web business, the two things I (and most aspiring IMers) struggle with are traffic and conversion. You have already provided a tremendous quantity of quality content with traffic but the more the concepts and approaches are presented, the more likely we will be able to ID those that work best for us.

Many of us spend at least part of our time trying to optimize sites and content for the search engines to improve "organic page position". Proper use of long tail keywords, link building, other on/off page techniques are all covered elsewhere but more focus on those methods that provide real results for most people would be great. In addition, if this is a true community setting, then discussions of "group support" in those efforts would be great as well, especially since "social buzz" seems to be a key factor to gain excellent page position.

The second thing I believe would be great are methods to increase conversion especially with regard to copy writing.

Another feature I think helps keep people focused are challenges/competition with set time frame.

    Cheers,

    Jim Hickey
  • copycash
    Hello Kim,
First since you are the queen of the traffic statistics, I would like to see a section on testing new venues of traffic sources including an A/B split test and the results...Is that too much? Secondly, more on mind mapping from development of a project to a finished and launched prduct. thx
  • amylimcd
Hi Kim- I like your information and advice because almost everything you teach is substantive, honest and practical.

Having said that, the biggest challenge I think for any internet marketer is execution and implementation. And I would love to see a feature which addresses this head on.

Too many of us get caught in the internet marketing educational world where we spend way too much time reading what everyone is teaching and not enough time applying it and continuing to apply it so it will actually make someone money consistently.

Given the amount of internet marketing educators out there (both good and bad), I think the information for success is not really a secret. For any that has been in this world for awhile, you quickly learn who really knows how to teach what is required (Kim is one).

But the real competitive advantage for an internet marketing business is the ability to take everything learned, create an executable plan and then actually implement and improve/test until you have multiple profitable income streams.

    Here are my suggestions:

    1. Have an ongoing live case study (or case studies) where you choose a product, launch a website and launch promotion campaigns and SEO activity using your teachings, recommended tools and strategies. Every other week or so, you can provide an update on what is working, what is not working, and what tweaks and adjustments you are doing with that particular promotion. You can also invite the community to provide suggestions.

Real case studies help in a real way because it is something real, current and tangible.

    2. Create Live Case Study contests where you invite your club members to participate on an optional basis to all promote the same product or to the same niche market (chosen by you or the club) by applying the educations, tools and strategies you teach.

Participating Members will provide the club with regular updates/stats to their campaigns on what has been working or not working. And you (and the community) can provide advice and feedback on a real time basis.

During the contest – Participants can be incentived with prizes for meeting certain top goals (like most sales, most traffic, best conversions, or just providing the most unique lesson). Nonparticipating members will benefit greatly as well by seeing these live case studies in action and learning in a more specific and applied environment.

These suggestions will (i) create more successful internet marketing members because it would provide a unique value added benefit that addresses probably the biggest obstacle to internet marketing success and (ii) cause your members to continue membership longer by having ongoing live case studies to build themselves, follow and/or learn from- basically a testing environment for the membership.

Entrepreneurs truly learn by doing. . . and adjusting and optimizing. However, many of the ongoing continuity and membership programs out there focus so much on education but do not excite or incentivized their members to DO in an effective way.

And the DO is really what we all need to focus on in order to get to a consistent and reliable business.

I have been searching for this type of incentivized take action option in an ongoing club/membership and I think that from time to time creating an optional live project contest would be a unique feature of your club and will hopefully get many of the members to really apply what we have learned - it would almost be like group coaching using real ongoing examples.
  • oscarhalpert
    Kim,
I think it would be great to feature a members-helping members section. This goes beyond message boards to include jobs--members could offer themselves for hire or search for help on specific areas such as article writing, video creation and so on.
I'd love to have a way to practice split-testing, so I can try it in practice before going live.
Another idea: give tokens to members to encourage them to help other members. The tokens can then be exchanged sort of like an internal monetary system within the club, for services. Say, for example, I put together a camtasia video on a certain aspect of conversion. I make that video available to members. In exchange for doing that, I earn tokens that I can either convert to cash or exchange with other members.
  • I have one more suggestion.
Is to have a section with hints and tips on "How to Submit to the Social Media Sites" the right way! There are plenty of sites that we all know about and how they work, therefore it would be great if there were somewhere in the club with hints, tips and strategies to use those sites effectively. E.g. What and how to write good content for these sites how long you should keep up with the content for each product you're promoting etc.
    Cheers Urzay

    Hey Kim,

First of all, I would like to thank you for the wonderful job you have done in presenting all the different concepts and ideas you have freely shared with everyone. To me, that’s the essence of what helping each other in personal and business partnerships is all about. We all seek success in whatever we decide to pursue in life, but the most inspiring and exciting things about being connected to your Super Affiliate Club will be the continued interaction of everyone sharing ideas and supporting each other.

As the Super Affiliate Club grows; the enthusiasm of success, shared ideas and managed content will lead the way in determining what features, training and support the club will grow to have. Just like all the ideas you will be getting from this contest and open format.

No matter what people decide to do in their life, it always starts in a step by step process. Many try to absorb it all at one time and many get very overwhelmed, discouraged and their dreams fade away, we see it every day. True, some people learn faster than others but that is why your Super Affiliate Club will be such a great success. The Super Affiliate Club will be an excellent way to keep everyone growing no matter what their level of understanding and experience may be.

One dynamic and exciting way to keep the growth and enthusiasm alive would be to initiate and reward different levels of achievement so everyone has a goal to look forward to in their Marketing journey. I mean we’ll all be members right? What better way to reward everyone’s accomplishment than with some form of achieved level or award? It could be in the form of a color coded level or maybe different levels designated with classical names that adds distinction with each individual’s earned achievements. The members could vote on the different number of levels and even the names for each level as well. Every great club or association has levels to work up to, why not this one? Plus it helps you keep focused in the right direction. That is the key to any success or worthy ideal.

You can have great features, content and resources, but if it’s not presented and managed in the proper teachable way, the success and enthusiasm will not be real, it has to be a hands on, rewarding experience. The heart and core of the Super Affiliate Club will be a foundation of “what works” and “what is real,” Kim, anything less, will not be to your standard, this we all know. That is what I and other members will be looking for, the creativity and connectedness of the members as a mastermind group, which will bring everything together to make it a success for everyone, which includes the incoming Super Affiliate Club members and the current experienced ones as well. Thanks Kim, Great Job!

    With much success to everyone,

    Hi Kim
What a great opportunity thank you.
One idea I have would be to have the whole group work together on a project to research, prepare, promote and launch a product all as JV partners. The learning would be tremendous for all of us from beginner to seasoned affiliate. The step by step process would become clear to all of us .. and each of us would contribute our various strengths. By commenting and questioning on a weekly call/webinar/videoconference we would contribute and learn at the same time.

  • A TRUE beginner’s guide to "Bum Marketing" for those who don't have a lot of funds to begin, that is for AdWords and other Paid advertising.
    Which would have the following:-
A Step by Step guide to writing articles, ads and blogs.
A heap more information than that of any other program out there.
It would also be extremely helpful if there were someway the beginner was able to communicate with someone who is a successful "Bum Marketer" but is still relatively new to the game of Affiliate Marketing. Basically someone who started out just like the newbie themself.
This someone would truly be in the know, to able to guide the newbie, by perhaps reviewing the articles, ads and blogs that the newbie wrote before submitting. Only to a point where, they got it right to making some money.
The reason I suggest this is because there are so many "Bum Marketing" guides out there that only tell you to write an article like this and an ad like that and a blog like….. etc. They show you what to do first up with no follow through with help and support to those still trying to make money online.
The other reason I suggest this is that there are some people out there that understand the concept but it is just not happening for them because of whatever reason. (I have been going at this for some time with only 2 sales and 5 people on my list all this from about 5-6 months work.

    Hi Kim
Having previously joined other "Inner Circles" all of which had tons of great information, the most important thing for me would be not to feel overwhelmed on day one. Content and resources can be found in abundance on the internet, but like having all the pieces of the jigsaw, if you don't have a clear picture of how to put it all together you might as well forget it

I would therefore like to see superb step by step training as a number one priority. As an ex teacher myself I understand the importance of teaching people what to do with the information they are being given.

I know my suggestion isn't very creative but I really believe that top quality training is the missing ingredient from most of the membership sites online

    Janet
  • We know that building list is crucial, and for a beginner, it will be hard to write a compelling autoresponder series with some kind of power to create relationship with the subscribers.

Most marketer will write promotional email, not a relationship kind of words and information that will let their stick, so it is great if SuperAffiliateClub provide its member with autoresponder series in popular niches.

    Hi Kim,

I’d like to see the program broken down into step-by-step modules beginning with the very basics all the way up to running your own site(s) and making money.

The modules would include checklists, case studies, and plenty of how-to information and videos. Perhaps this could include some type of built in accountability so that you would need to fully complete one module before you could move on to the next.

I think this would help to build in some discipline, keep us from wondering off to the next “big” thing, and teach us how to look at internet marketing more from a real business standpoint. Because, as a marketer if you don’t complete anything or have a plan you don’t have a business.

I’d also like to see some type of individualized training. Not necessarily one on one but in small groups 5-7 people so that we can ask questions and have time to get real answers. Maybe you could have regularly scheduled conference calls or webinars for this. I think this would also give us a chance to connect with others and begin to build relationships from the beginning.

Data Feeds are a fantastic way to get that content. Data feeds are widely and freely available from major affiliate networks like Share a sale, Commission Junction, Link Share, Kolimbo etc... and even from private sellers like Yahoo store owners. datafeeds have the best and highest converting keywords, datafeeds let you pulverize your competition in affiliate markets, datafeeds can be used on money sites and feeder sites, for adsense, affiliate income, or drop shipping. Affiliates can start making money right away with no need of having their own product and without investing a fortune in the creation of it. This is the most inexpensive way to begin to create wealth on the internet.

As for features , Google Analytics is an incredibly useful tool that essentially tracks the way people approach and use on a web site. And wouldn't it be useful to have a map on your site so people could find you? Even better, a map that could give directions automatically like Google Maps embed in a web page based on a location . O r embed video"s, or Google Apps for domain which gives your free domain branded email, or sophisticated tracking applicaitons like ClickTale. Google tools are one of many great "free applications" out there that can be integrated into your site .

And as for resources we can put an affiliate marketing niche through its paces using Google Insights for Search , as an example of how this tool can help you nail down a niche.Let’s assume you’ve decided that it would pretty cool to promote a product that teaches a foreign language. And let’s say you’re thinking that learning French could be a worthwhile option. Take a look at the Google Adwords Research Tool results for “Learn French”. Check out the volume of searches for this term each month around the world. When I looked, it was a humongous 368,000 searches!

And as for Training we could be Using Online Video To market our products . We could also use Autoresponder Tips To Boost Your Affiliate Business . We could have a Associate Programs Newsletter , to update our affiliates ,and non affiliates of our training ,and goals . We could have keyword research tools for PPC marketing . ( Great keywords = Great profits ). Each bid that you place on a keyword is an investment you make. Have them read through these tips and make sure you're bidding wisely, not betting on your keyword choices.
Learn the different keyword variations you should be looking out for to find "gold mine" keywords and maximize your profits.a niche is a specialized market. When you think about dog training, it's not very "niche". It's absolutely massive - which means there's plenty of room in the market for more affiliates to come on board. However, it's when you drill down into the hundreds or thousands of sub niches and micro niches within dog training that you can uncover some brilliant opportunities.Sure you could compete in the broader dog training mega-niche but how much money do you have to spend? By going more "niche" within dog training you can target receptive audiences at a much lower cost, for greater profits.

Let's look at the many advantages of marketing to a select, niche market.

Hi Kim, here are my suggestions:

    1. Geo-targeted landing pages (be they squeeze or pre-sell or whatever)

    2. A bonus gift of 1/2 consulting time with you (if you have the time of course)

    3. A website review of by you for suggested improvements - 1 time review.

This 'Live Chat 24/7 service' has been in my mind for a long time. Obviously there must be a way to provide the service. If there was a current core group of successful marketers in SAC already, a roster might be worked out where they offer their time to be available on certain occasions per week, fortnight or month.

From my frequent use of these resources in my struggle to maintain control of the web hosting process, I have found them an amazing resource. You can solve the problem with someone 'sitting' beside you as the problem needs dealing with.

As this idea evolves the effort & cost of these 'volunteers' may be met and subsidised by the group in a variety of ways.
    1. Free membership
    2. Payment (via a small additional levy)
    3. other rewards that are worked out by the members as an annual, biennial or some such timeline event.

The aim of the above ideas is to turn it into an institution that it becomes a badge of honour to be part of. It also gives additional 'real' rewards to the 'volunteers'!!

The ultimate fantasy is that it could be promoted as something that separates SAC from other similar clubs, forums etc. This is far from a working idea in my head, but I feel it would allow people to be confident they can get help as they need to get help! Just one thought. If the person seeking the advice agreed, the results of the process could be logged in an archive for the group to review!

I am a bit excited & I want to thank Mark V for prompting me to push hard to see his idea extended into a fuller possiblity.

We will all want to join because of the KIm Roach standard of content. So it would be wonderful if that continued.

A private online forum where we could get to know each other, share information, support and help each other.

Maybe we could have a private twitter circle.

Occasional meet ups of people who live near each other.

Online meet ups through conference calls and webinars.

Maybe this is mad but could we as a group pick a high ticket launch, decide on all that needs doing, divide out the tasks to get a site to the top spot, maintain the spot and put the proceeds towards all of us meeting up at a major IM conference or convention. I think building rapport and relationships is important in this business.

I need help. I just can't invest in another make money online deal. You see, I have no money, I am on disability. I am trying to find something help me get back to a lifestyle before my disability. For the last year, I have invested in different programs (schemes or maybe they were scams - I don't know), and with me being a newbie to internet marketing, none of them told me EXACTLY what to do. Leaving with information that is useless to me. I have tried MLM and found that it is not for me and I just cannot get the just of Affiliate Marketing. More money gone. I have spent over $3,500.00 and have not made a dime. Even tried stores online, still nothing. Remember, I'm a newbie - I don't know jack about setting up web sites. I even tried to start a typing business at home and it is not doing well. With my disability, I am unable to promote AVON enough to make a profit.

I would like to see more information directed to the newbies, step by step of how to set up your website for affiliate marketing. For a persons like myself who have limited income, free affiliate programs.

As a newbie, I don't know the lingo so I would not know what programs to suggest. Webinars with Q&A might help, hearing the answer to others can answer questions not asked.

I looked forward to continually learning and working with you.

  • Chuck
I like your never quit attitude, even with a disability!!!!!!!

With your attitude and a little guidance, I believe you will succeed.
  • I know what you mean Angel...I'm disabled too. And it's easy to get distracted by all the gooroos and their promises. There are some " good guys" though. Don't give up and don't buy into the get rich quick crowd.
  • So True are your words Angel. You're not the only one that has this problem. some have no disability and still just aren't getting it for some reason or another.
  • Angel431
There must be a network dedicated to those who don't understand some of the basics to allow them an opportunity to get into affiliate or multilevel marketing. I feel that I am a fairly intelligent person, but if you just jump into the format of how to do things without telling me the basics, I will never get. I hope that we (the newbies and those who find getting started difficult) find an avenue to learn internet marketing. We deserve the opportunity to achieve success just as anyone else do.
  • frankwb1
Plug and play squeeze pages that convert would be great-especially if they were in niches that actually spend money.
Getting the latest scoop on hot niches with products that people WANT to buy with converting sales letters/squeeze pages would be the ultimate IM dream. I think that would be paramount. You can get rid of just about everything else up but if you are in a niche where people freely spend money you are half way there. Incidentally, I'm beginning to think that promoting physical products may just well be an easier way for us struggling marketers to get a decent income going. Aren't most web searches(buying searches) done for actual physical products? I mean true-people search for solutions for their problems online and perhaps your ebook will sell-IF you can convince him that your information will solve his problem. On the other hand, you don't need to convince a parent that his kid wants toys for Christmas. :)

I simply believe in everything which is under the leadership of Kim Roach! I admire her modesty honesty and brains! I am an enternal newbie-dummie and I hope that only You can produce video guides( webseminars are wonderful but for a foreigner sometimes it is complicated to follow the speaker).... And step-by-step videos will help millions of people of the world and help them find the proper way not to only wealth but to self-paid job! The members will have the possibility of studying them as much time as they need! I want you to take the responsibility of enlightening newbies and dummies and advanced members. The people will follow you!
  • Mohamed
I really want to see a training site that do not give you access to the next step till you finish the step you are in. That will make every body care about taking action not just reading.

Most of people trying to make money online fail because they keep reading and do not take action, which make them feel like they are doing a lot of work with no return.

Hope you find a way to do that :)
  • What a great Idea. I wished I thought of that LOL.
  • toboyle9
I think what would make the Super Affiliate Club stand out from its competition is a discussion about what works best for affiliate marketing. Without divulging competitive secrets, a more generalized commitment to reporting to members what strategies or tactics have proven to work for individual members. If we could look to Super Affiliate Club as a valuable resource of ideas and tools to help us build our online businesses.

    Regards,

    Tom O'Boyle
  • Steve Fisher
    Dear Mrs. Roach,
My name is Steve Fisher, I am a disabled Individual near Kansas City, Mo. I would like to see a bunch of individuals with disabilities doing this opportunity across the nation(niche?). I would love to see more explanation of squeeze pages and how to set them up. Some online chats or webinars, and definately more call ins for one on one!
  • larrywjazz

    21. Best SEO practices

I personally would love the opportunity to see web site design using Wordpress that is easy to build, has all the features you can possibly get (including SEO optimization) which would also include ever changing sidebars for each page. This would be to incorporate affiliate products on topic for each category or page. Digging for good templates remains difficult as many are hard to incorporate and break easily.

Having a good quality and visually appealing web site is 90% of everything.
  • monica
    Hi Kim,
I would have to say for me the biggest learning curve is in setting up a website. I don't mean using a template that has limits...I mean like using kompozer to create a nice looking website with multiple columns, links, opt in box and then using filezilla to upload to hosting company. If there were over the shoulder tutorials that showed this and then have a forum that members could go to when they had problems that other members could help them with.

I think it is one of the main reasons people give up on having an online business. Lord knows I weren't so stubborn I probably would've given up a long time ago...as it is I have been working on this for 9 months now and have only made just under $100.

    Good Luck!
    monica

  • And other programs such as M/S Expression web 2.0 or Frontpage or any of the free web builders. I am sure there would be some people willing to do videos on any of these if they have time and a helping nature.
  • Monday Night Marketing Chats, Could change this to Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday? Here in the states there is Monday Night Football, just an FYI.

Most I would think would like to find great products to be an affiliate for, so, picking products and keywords for them should be number one!

Getting traffic is also big on everyone's list. PPC is something that would be great to learn and implement properly.

Also, getting traffic to convert; email marketing is still big, some might like to know how to implement a great email campaign. How to write them for great conversions, plus being informative to their lists?

I would like to see. not only stuff for the newbies, but also the intermediate affiliate marketer all the way up to advanced!

Also if you are using videos, it might be nice for pdf's also, some of us still like to read.

    Thanks,
    Scott

  • Anytime is good but be sure to include times that suit the Aussies too. It always seemed to be missed as our times are completely opposite to most of the world LOL.

    Kim,

I have a few ideas I would like to submit. They are the following:

    1. Starting from ground zero how to build your first profitable campaign. I would like to see from several perspectives the newbie, intermediate, and advanced person.

    2. Cover outsourcing tips and recommend resources.

    3. Show how the build landing and squeeze pages that actually convert.

    4. Cover the internet marketing mindset necessary in order to succeed.

    5. Provide a forum for people committed to excellence in their business.

    6. Cover PPC (PPV) to CPA tips.

    7. Show how to target and capitalize on hunger ready buyers.

    8. Show how to create your own product or service.

    9. Cover profitable marketing tips for the various business models.

    10. Show the value of continuity programs, membership sites, and mastermind groups.

    11. Show some offline techniques like providing SEO tip to outside businesses. Capturing and selling leads to brick and mortar busineses or even providing website development tips to these same businesses.

12.Show the important of process maps, mind maps and continual development.

    13. Show the legal aspects of business. Show how to become a llc, llp, s-corp, c-corp or whatever the person desires. Explain the importance alongg with the advantages and disadvantages of each.

    14. Cover Team building. Team dynamics.

    15. Cover customer retention.

    16. Use real life case studies of people implementing your techniques from various skills sets that are having success.

    17. Show some failures. Analyze where mistakes we made so other can identify where they have possible went wrong.

    18. Split testing. Covering the importance and value of split testing.

    19. Help people see beyond clickbank and the short term profit. Show the people how to business a profitable business.

    20. Have a live event that is void of the continual pitches.

    22. I would like to see some bi weekly webinars, teleseminars, or even skype sessions and interviews.

    23. Best practices of highly successful marketers.

    24. List swaps, JV partnerships and cross promotions.

    25. Upsells, down sells, cross sells.

I am sure I could write more but I think this is a pretty good list.

    Cheers.

  • tadco
The most helpful for newbies and pros would be to watch a complete program as you put it together - from A to Z - broken down into several categories so advanced subscribers go fast forward to video of importance to them. And above all - updates - things that no longer work as well as new found techniques that we are not aware of.

    Thanks
  • Shawn
Yes,yes, yes !!, training is the key !! The more online training you offer the more it helps your business and others. Whether its a telephone or a web conference where you can speak and the mediator can ask others to share their experiences to grow their business or video training on a multitude of subjects to help websites, traffic, squeeze pages, videos, etc.
  • johndyson
My post got a little mangled as i tried re-editing it, sorry about that!

cool site kim ! getting case studies from contributing members and quests with rewards .Having free webinar masterminds to build sites from them and profit share from them.Using the tools in the club to collaborate on listed projects from those that want to share and profit as a whole at the club . like an investment club. using the power of contributing knowledge and experience to profit by. good luck with all
  • Jeannette
A information bank (should be moderated) where people can post solutions to common issues arising in affiliate marketing.
  • johndyson
I would be guessing that the central target audiences that your aiming for sign ups will primarily be in the beginner stages, so for them

newbie step by step guides and case studies, plus the resources to get them done,

the easier it is for someone who is not familiar with anything to follow the simple guides and succeed with as little frustration as possible, would be awesome considering the amount of information overload that is all to common,

people would absolutely love that, I know i would have when i first started

    example guide ideas
    what is a keyword?
why are they important and how do they work?
    basic KW research
    essential competition research
    Finding, researching and developing content

    types of content
basics of websites, the anatomy of a website?
    what direction should i take? site owners/complete newbies/some money/no money/ect
paid site, (newbies should stay away from the world of FTP at this point, talk about it but perhaps in more detail in more advance stages)
free sites, (weebly could be one of the easiest for beginners)

So basically simple essentials for beginners, if you could structure something that would make them see results, however small, would be killer. if you could bridge that gap when new people start but do not see any results let alone have any kind of confidence in what they are actually doing..
like no fail step by step guides like setting up simple sites, creating some content, getting them indexed, creating backlinks through various means,

I think catering to beginner marketers is extremely important, i have seen a few other membership internet marketing places and i think that they are missing the "wow, that was easy, something actually happened" factor , having it blend with a non info overload theme but with a very practical informative side as well,

in house affiliate programs - JV's , Launches, inside tips to to promote these..powerful

why not have your resource section with directory of affiliate
program links!!! instead of having people go hunt for programs to join,

marketing tutorials, types, lessons, advanced resources,
I'm thinking of course about three basic sections for beginners, intermediate, and advance , feels good about knowing you are progressing through something and knowing where you are
my guess is that the majority of people who would be interested in your site and courses would be of three or four major demographics, make it especially relevant to them and the rest of interested people should be fine(only a guess, Kim. I could be off my rocker with this!)

Current up datable elements on their control panel to make your members feel alive and cool.
unannounced bonuses and so forth, (monthly marketing plan, monthly JV promo..)
(Roach Radio!! a compilation of webinars, interviews, guest speakers)
incentives, for anything and everything,,user input and contribution is important.

Member of the month, chosen by criteria you choose
offer members free hypnosis/meditation for concentration/learning/success, to aid in Quest for Success! mmm maybe?
    internet tools
(whoa! I think I am giving away all the ideas for my own site!)
monthly campaign contests, expanded to 2-3 months maybe (secret newbie contests by PM or some thing, same with intermediate and more advanced , jv product, your own product,

something wild and out of the blue that may not have any monetary concern,(for fun- possible big buzz ramifications, for a charity!! see if a big media would be interested in something like that, promo of a product for charity, fun, human interest, cross promo, branding, increase integrity and membership status ect. monthly or what ever time interval charity marketing challenge, has not been done before that i have seen so much, the occasional one here and there but nothing substantial, you could challenge other membership sites as well, imagine how proud your members would be of their membership and not to mention(did i mention already?) big benefits of big media cross promo? That would be news, internet marketing company campaigns for homeless for 6 months, or online marketing site champions the cause for Alzheimer's or heart and stroke, you know a decent campaign would well be worth the buzz and the pluses of this are across the bored.
well these are a few ideas, I may make a second post if time does not run out.
Cheers Kim, all the best with the launch!
  • What I would like to see is the training that would take a broke person from scratch( meaning no money, because that is where I find myself at the moment) To replace their monthly income within , say 2 months. Of course the person would have to have the desire, Other then that start at flat broke.
  • In addition to the incredibly useful content that Kim always brings to the table, I would like to see the members bring the latest methods they have created/found and contribute to the community as well. What makes a great membership site is:

    1) Having A Great Leader (Kim fills the bill on that one)

    2) Members sharing valuable info and sincerely helping each other on the path to making a real living as IM'ers.

Other than that, it would be cool to have a contest where members split into teams and have a "product creation launch competition" where they would collaborate on a product, launch it, and show results as they come in. The winning team would be obvious. They would be the ones who made the most money within a given period of time which would be set by Kim. Lots of hands-on experience would be gained from those who participated.
  • Hi Kim,
My idea to make SAC really rock... is to take SAC uber-global! Here's what I mean...

    1. Create a "Super Affiliate Club International Summit" of seminars.
    2. Invite a Who's Who list of Super Affiliate Speakers to participate & present at the Summit seminars. Big name Speakers from the world of Affiliate Marketing will help to raise the profile of SAC, and in turn, SAC will provide a huge platform for the Speakers to promote themselves and their products.
    3. Take the Summit on an international circuit tour of major cities globally throughout the year.
    4. Invite people around the world to attend the Summit.
    5. Promote the SAC Summit through all the normal channels and through Affiliates programs, offering commissions & bonuses.
    6. Speakers from across the worlds of Affiliate Marketing and Internet Marketing in general can speak about their own experiences of business, provide trainings and promote/sell their own products & services at the events, as can SAC.
    7. SAC can do joint ventures with the speakers.
    8. Have a BIG year end event at a major venue e.g Las Vegas

This will create a whole new business and series of major industry related events every year, and will undoubtedly take not only SAC, but the whole Affiliate Marketing business to a new level.

And guess what... both you... and I... could lead the march! Hey, I would like to a part of this phenomena too! lol ;¬)

I think it's a brilliant idea, even if I say so myself!

    Salim
  • I would like to see lessons on how to use and install templates and make them interact with each other.
There is too much supply of templates by themselves; where it is lacking is the proper use of them. This should be covered from how to fill in the templates, uploading to and downloading from servers and using payment processors.
  • I would like see you teaching about information overloaded and how to deal with it, there are lots of products in the market which teach you how to make money but no one teaches you about how you should be disciplined in your work, How you should really gear up for your business without thinking newly launched product that too talk about the making money.... I am sick of so many products and the time you are going to finish a new product launched with greater hype and you you just keep on learning and reading without actually implementing anything....I think this is the problem which most of the newbies faces.....
Most important you should be mentor and helping everyone if they need any advice from you from time to time implementing your strategies.
You should also teach about the Niche Product Creations, how to create your own product and sell it by using other people traffic and sources as most of the Guru's do, the complete step by step guide from creation to sales and marketing your product.
Research the market and keep everyone updated whats going in the market and what will be hot in coming days so that everyone can start working on that.
The most important thing I want in the Super Affiliate Club it should be formed in spirit of helping each other so that everyone can not only learn from you but also from fellows Super Affiliate Club members.
  • A step by step guide for newbies on what to learn first, second, etc and then links where they can find both free and paid information with a brief description of each link's content. It is so hard to know where to begin and what to do next once you do begin. So many have differing opinions on what's effective and what's not worth your time. Who do you believe, who do you only partially believe? What strategies work with other strategies, etc.
  • Vik
    Hey Kim,

I got a couple of content ideas:

    - Cutting edge information like how to use Gmaps to show up on the 1st page of Google SERPs without having to build a boat load of links....

    - How to effectively find outsourcers to outsource building wordpress sites and link building...while we focus on finding lucrative markets.

  • Hi kim, I'd like to see each topic of IM be broken down into easy to follow steps, and each topic explained from the ground up in plain English. For example there are so many ways of traffic generation Lets just pick Twitter for example. What is it?, How do you use it to drive traffic? What is its value? just step by step really

    Kim hi,

Plug-and-Play squeeze pages, Monday Night Marketing Chats, Call-In Days, Monthly Competitions these are all great.

I believe people need accountability (homework) to stay clear focused, and put the valuable learning into action.

Having just completed a 4 week virtual workshop - I produced more in 4 weeks than in the previous 2 years. Because my homework was critiqued by the teacher after my homework was submitted at the end of each lesson -- before the next lesson.

I've been in the high end coaching groups - invaluable!

The flaw is that you are left ALONE to put the learning into action. Without action the entire How To learning means nothing -- without the What To Do Now!

I truly believe this is what your inner circle will benefit from the most.

They will see the winning post get closer each step of the training, they will stay motivated, and your "inner circle" will be the best thing since sliced bread.

    Hope this helps
    Toni
  • Hi Kim,

First, you already provide some of the freshest, most useful non-hypey internet marketing info I've seen, so please keep that up in the Club.

Second, my wish is to build an online business that is passive, portable, profitable and private.

    1. I'd like ongoing information on the best ways to drive Passive short and long term traffic.

    2. Portable, to me, means quick and thorough printable checklists for setting up every system in my business. That means if I want to set up a new site, I can grab a checklist and a cup of coffee and follow the steps, or I can give the checklist to someone else and end up with the site I envisioned.

    3. Profitable means solid information about everything from product selection through conversions.

    4. Last but not least is Private. I'd love to see training on how to run a successful online business, using free traffic, without trolling for thousands of Twitter followers and without branding my name. I'm all for honesty and transparency, but would like to know how to thrive behind the scenes -- how to be the rich producer rather than the superstar actor.

    Wishing you all the best,
    Audre

It would be great to see how to videos step by step to the top of the Affiliate world and have a weekly up date and chat with you and other super affiliate interviews to get their take on the world of affiliate marketing. It would be nice to have people come together and form mastermind groups so that we would be able to help each other along the way. This way we would be all heading in the right direction to making money all the way to the top. It would also be to our advantage to learn social marketing with the sites you have above like face book, twitter and what have you and networking with all the other great people here and other guru's in this great world of internet marketing.

    Hi Kim,

I would love to see in depth training and live case studies of creating blog pages that actually convert visitors into buying customers.

I think there are lots and lots of budding internet marketers that have worked and studied so hard on how to generate decent levels of traffic (wow i'm 43 have previously owned two offline companies that turned over more than £1 million UK, but have never studied or tried as hard to master something as much as i have this internet merketing dream), but have and still struggle to produce web/blog pages that actually convert visitors into paying customers.

If i can master that then my life and i believe the life of many budding internet marketers will be changed.

Thanks for the mind map by the way, its an excellent resource"

    Regards

I feel that most people want to KNOW that they are part of a exclusive club
    - not the typical affiliate marketing course. Inside are insiders little known marketing secrets, techniques and tools that are effective and not used or known by most, which will give the membership an edge; along with guidance to enhance the positive experience.
This will cause the membership to focus.

    thanks, miles
  • For me what I never find is first content for email marketing. All say the same built the list , but exactly what is good content for the follow up series. Second is still content but for 2 kind of websites, one for blogs and one for a membership site. Similar to the first everybody talks about it but nobody really shows us what to write.
Just my point of view about what I miss. No tecnical stuff but good content.
  • Steve Owen
Being new to internet marketing I would like to see a step-by-step instructional video on how to get started. How to find a niche market, select a product, how to write an article or creating a website and getting it listed using SEO. Everything a newbie would need to know to start making money on the internet.
  • curtisn
A lot of these monthly inner circle type memberships are great, but the tips are all over the board. What I mean by that is that they create fancy names like "The Quadruple Pronged Youtube Explosion" for each of their methods and then present methods for too many different things. They don't focus on one thing like just affiliate marketing or just traffic - they're all over the place.

What would make this Super Affiliate Club great would be keeping your tips short, simple, and actionable. No fancy names, no 90-minute videos - just little reports which are less than 10 pages long which each contain one method to make money, to drive traffic, or to do whatever your focus will be with this club.

It might be tempting to overdeliver by creating a zillion videos, reports, audios, etc., but if you over-complicate things, people will not act. Give them bite-sized tidbits of info, however, and it won't look so hard to follow your methods. So more people will act upon your info, more people will achieve success, and you'll get more social proof.
  • Kris, you know that fill-in-the-blank templates in all aspects of Internet marketing including article writing, blog commenting, email follow-up, etc. would be a great helper.

    Here's why:

    1. It helps us save time, money and frustration
    2. We can use these almost immediately to make money
    3. We could use them over and over again

Hope you like my suggestion, whether I get a spot inside or not :)

P.S. Another "must-have" feature I think is to have an "Instant Alert" option where you'll notify members of what's working for you NOW.

This way all the members will get cutting edge tips & tricks in their inbox/forum, without buying other books or looking for other gurus! :)
  • Al
Video answers to questions and new trends you notice in Google - way more important than squeeze page templates, competitions etc. It's your call - are you wishing to help people advance their business or are you wishing simply to deliver a particular amount of value?

I'd say think of ways of giving your members as much personal contact with you as you can fit into your work routine and lifestyle.

People are drowning in information they need guidence and contact.

The best marketing club should have practical labs in which the newbies, intermediate and advanced marketers can follow a strict plan to produce result in short period of time.

For any newbies, the most important thing is to see result to get motivated. $1-$5/day is more than enough to boost his/her confidence and escalate it big.

So simple plan, hopefully videos that anybody can follow to get result in 1 , 2 weeks is my way to go.

Well Kim, for shore we will need to know a lot about how to choose the right stuff to work with. There are a lot of glittering stuff out there. The next thing should be a step-by-step through your nice system, to start earning real money into our account.

As a computer techie I would say that it would be great if your system would be scaleable as there will be some people with little experience and some with a lot.

It is nice if we could learn how to earn a dollar now and then, but my dream is to be able to live out of what I earn on the Internet.

We need to learn how to focus on one strategy and follow it through, before we start on the next, and so on.

As I am living in Sweden, it is not often that I will be able to join online webinars, but it is really good to learn new stuff from those webinars, and if you could record it, we all would be able to have the material.

The best at the end, just be YOU, cincere, honest and with a good heart!

(I am sorry for my rather poor english ;-)

    To Your success,

  • Jan_K
Kim, Not sure how I ended up on your list, but I must admit your mails are the ones I look forward too as they give relevent USEFUL info everytime!

As a newbie to affiliates and marketing who often feels overwhelmed by the amount of info overload out there with often contradicting advice, I would love to see step by step "how to's" with your usual level of down to earth no BS usefulness!

Spotlights on success stories from affiliates who have achieved a livable "wage" doing what they love, how they did it - step by step, what worked what did not etc, and their next steps to greatness

Coaching, brainstorming and sharing info between members that encourages people of all levels to achieve further success.

Best of luck with your launch, I am sure it will ROCK!

    Hi Kim,

You cover everything so well, I think you should try something very unique. So here is my suggestion.

Make everyone a super affiliate by having members contribute thier products (one original giveway and one original sale product) into a giveaway/affiliate product package. Your site gets the first opt-in, everyone else gets thier own product opt-ins. Just like a big giveaway, but they also have a chance to sell a product and create a recognizable brand for themselves.

You can take everyone step by step through the entire process of building opt-in pages, download pages, autoresponders, and followup with thier new followers.

You could even set up a specific forum for this and let everyone teach each other to a degree so you don't have to answer every little question.

Teaches everyone the whole marketing process, teaches JV affiliate relationships (and maybe even grow a few), gives everyone (including you) more followers. Teaches everyone what it takes to promote on line. Plus we can have a ball doing it.

    I hope I win!

    Hi Kim,

Great idea to create some excitement and get some useful content as well.

Since I am relatively new to Internet Marketing I frequently get "stumped" when something doesn't work right or I get ahead of myself on a particular project.

I would like to see a "live chat" module in the SAC that you could ask an expert in real time about something specific. Forums are good but you don't always get the answer you need and in the time frame you want. It doesn't necessarily need to be a 24/7 Live Chat...maybe 9am to 7pm.

    Thanks,

    Mark V

I'd like to see weekly or monthly webinars where we can have our sites critiqued -- get suggestions from others, see where we're strong and where we might have some weaknesses. Or if we're stuck on something others can have input to help us.
  • SmarterSites
As a Super Affiliate Club Member I´d like to have:

    1. CO-BRANDED affiliate tools to promote your products, such as co-branded pdf reports, video presentations with our affiliate link in it, etc..

    2. A list of the best pay-per-lead converting offers to monetize a opt-in newsletter thank you page

In the end it all comes down to converting your traffic first into marketing dollars so you can continue building your list provided that we must provide value to our subscribers in our newsletter and via blog posts and ultimately through our own products or services.

In other words, quality content and quality services is a must have for any entrepreneur, blogger or site owner.

Conversion rates are a key and always changing
    - How to increase conversion rates
    - How to maintain good conversion rates
    - Visitor to subscriber
    - Subscriber to participate in CPA offers
    - Subscriber to member

    Hi Kim,
Because the internet and the way we need to use it is constantly changing I would like to see an update section where old or obsolete ideas are are clearly marked as such and the new way of doing things listed alongside each obsolete idea.

I am sure a lot of the info I have on my computer is outdated and therefore not giving me the best possible results.

Like others I would also like to see some step by step take me by the hand and walk me through the jungle, sorry myriad of ideas that are available to me.

I am often confused by the contradictory advice given by different marketers, but I realize that they all talk of ways that they have personally found profitable in the past. Unfortunately they don't always tell you that easier and/or better things have come to the forefront in the marketing world.
  • Guest
The first rule of Super Affiliate Club, is we do talk about Super Affiliate Club!
The power and strength of any community comes from its members, and the most useful feature of SAC will come from an ability to cut through the "noise" that the IM world is awash with. To find and use tested, effective, profitable methods, that enhance members online incomes.

A success story page with ordinary people sharing there stories, and helping other people along the way realise there success, after all we are all fed up of being fed bull, we could see genuine people succeeding and other people could follow
  • Brian
    Kim,

This may not be fancy enough a suggestion to win a membership. But when I attended your Ultimate Blogging Challenge, to see how you marketed a new site was EXTREMELY helpful. It took everything from an abstract technique to the reality of seeing the work actually being done. I came away from that thinking - I can do that for goodness sake.

So maybe you call that an Extended Case Study where we get to see consistent action over time. Now there are obvious challenges with revealing work on an actual site. But as long as the members are made aware that a public Case Study will impede maximum results - I think it would be an INVALUABLE asset.

So yes - I want to learn all kinds of new things - but the difference that makes the difference - is seeing it being done thereby instilling in us a belief that we truly can do it too.
  • Martin
I think a regular "successful campaign analysis" would be incredibly useful.

There's tons of resources out there on copywriting, niche/product selection etc, but I think a lot of people would benefit from "tearing apart" a working campaign to see why it's working so they can see how everything fits together. It may even be useful to tear apart a campaign that isn't working to see where it could be improved.

The campaigns themselves could of course be from members, or from successful IMers

    Hi Kim,

I think having a step-by-step, start to finish tutorial about how to find a niche market, drive traffic to the website, create the website, create the email, blogs, you name it whatever it would take to learn how to become the most successful internet marketer a person could be. This type of tutorial would be standing over your shoulder as you worked. In the tutorial you could then point out why you are doing certain things and how they are beneficial. I think your videos in Instant Pay Day Formula are excellent. This other type of tutorial would be like putting those all together using one subject from start to finish so that your students can see a final product and how you arrived at it. So that would be my suggestion of making the Super Affiliate Club Rock. Without knowing what else is in it, I bet it's already going to be the best deal available.

    Thanks,
    Elizabeth
  • I would like to see a series (because I don't think it can be done in one video) of instructional videos where we can watch over your shoulder as you create an article on a new niche and where you post it first. Then what you do next and how you get the "High-Profile Content Syndication". Kim you have done a wonderful job writing and explaining this but to watch it as it comes to life would be an extraordinary accomplishment and I know you like challenges.
This would include blogs, stumbleupon, and sites like that to get the most exposure.

I cannot tell you how you have opened my eyes to so many ideas and things I need to incorporate in my IM efforts. A series of training videos will just put the frosting on the cake.

Thank you again for all your sharing.

    Hi Kim,

I already know that you provide some of the best content on traffic, no doubt.

I have read the other responses and I understand the need for
    step by step instructions.

However, the one thing that is hardly ever covered and is the
most difficult for the newbie is conversions.

I believe this is where most training falls flat.

It is the most frustrating for newbies and for many experienced marketers who have mastered all the basics but still are not realizing their goals.

So, my vote is for more instruction for conversions.

    Wishing you the best,

    Scott
p.s. As always, thanks for your great work.

  • If you really want us to look over your shoulder on some of the stuff you are going to share in the super affiliate club then I would like to see live webinars with a few Q and A's at the end. Webinars can be recorded and stashed in the vault for reference later for members. That would really rock! The interaction with you in a live webinar alone would actually be priceless!

That or live uStream whiteboard training. I would pay for that!
  • timfrazier
    Hello,
To start, there should be training on how to select a good affiliate offer that converts. Then how to set up a website and squeeze page that converts. Next, tips on satisfying your customer, so they become a repeat customer.(List building) I would like to see weekly webcasts where one lucky member would get his or her site critiqued. Moving on, sources for low cast or free tools to market your website. Also, article writing 101. Sure everybody talks about it, but what is the secret that builds links that bring in traffic consistently? That leads into link building. Where and how to get the best links for free or nearly free. All of your suggestions are great. Let's throw in some training on RSS, podcasting, and search engine submission. I would just like to see a real membership site where members can grow and learn and actually receive the information that they need to succeed. On the subject of websites, if we could have access to top converting themes as a bonus to help our sites rank fast; it would really be an over-the-top bonus. Hope this helps.

The inner circle should be the most caring and helpful circle to those who need more help to understand and learn how super affiliate achieve their goals in a supper way. They must teach to newbie's how to build a list and thoroughly make them to under stand step by step how to do affiliate market successfully so they can make decent livening too. To write a high quality content on their web page should be the main priority.
  • Mike
I really like the idea of a video series along with a process map to reference to. Makes it easy to follow and you don't get lost on the "what to do next thing".
A monthly competition promoting a certain product could be good. Might not be that lucrative as everyone is promoting the same thing but it would certainly teach us the basics and keep us motivated.
Perhaps a weekly or monthly traffic method where you take the method and pull it apart so we could see exactly what's is required to set it up and continue to use it. I have found in many products they tell you what methods to use but don't explain how to use them.
    Anyway that's my bit.
    Regards mike.
  • Jon Arnold
Several components will make it worthwhile and different than the "same old" that everyone else offers. Plug & play squeeze pages but not already setup for a particular niche, make the SP flexible enough to add your own graphics, bullet points, etc. Another thing that is almost mandatory is a forum where members can interact, suggest new twists to something, help each other in a "community" sense. Also have the forum keep track of how long a member has not logged in, and email them if they've been absent for awhile to encourage them to become active, since the forum will maintain a "hot topic" list.
Most importantly, for the forum, use software that will allow the user to see NEW posts when they log in each time, as well of course as viewing all posts.
  • trebor817
There are several items that I believe would serve as valuable assets to the club. First, I feel that some case studies would benefit many people. These cases could be a combination of 'real' events/methods that led to successful affiliate campaigns, or hypothetical ones that could be 'tweaked' to compile approaches that could benefit those seeking to create/enhance their businesses. These
real or hypothetical scenarios could be suggested by anyone, and then be analyzed and tweaked interactively by a group within the club. There could then be a joint effort undertaken to implement a given strategy, or perhaps a challenge/contest to determine who could achieve the best results, in terms of net sales, for example. Training: there are a few possibilities here. For example, two key areas relate to how best to identify emerging markets/products, in such a way as to 'get ahead of the curve'. What information is most essential, how to gather it, and the most effective way to interpret it. Included here could be an analysis of the optimum ways to test theories derived from this exercise, as a means of solidifying information collected as noted above. Another potential training focus could be the use of media in promoting products. What are the emerging methods, which project out to be the most effective, and what are the most prolific ways to utilize them. Here again, individuals and/or teams could be challenged to compile training tools, with a 'test group' used to determine the most effective ones.
  • Hey Lovely Kim,

Well, If i could offered to be in the club.
What would I want to be in the Super Rockstar Affiliate Club?
    hmmmmmmm.....

    1. Case Studies, with step by step, maybe a video go along,
Do the "stuff"and record a video and then when everything come back make another video of what the "stuff" you did made happen.
    Ex. do article publishing video
then video of the after effects

You will have all the other good stuff im sure.

2.Maybe some inspiration, people tend to get excited and start on something then they stop never really get much done.
Tell us how you have a fire lit under you.

3.The most up to date strategies, you might not like this one. But to have someone tell us what market targets to hit, to know what the latest and best seo strategies.

    Thanks

would be nice if we could have "2-3 ways" that can fetch some good amount of profits on auto pilot APART FROM article marketing.
Condition: We don't want suggestions about classifieds (cost to posting itself is more than the return sometimes if you ain't a good ad writer). And no, I don't want it to be e-mail marketing either ('cos then you'll ask me to build my list and for that i'll need others to opt in through my persuading articles) so sorry, kim. I know you'll need to work hard to think of such revenue streams that can be forgotten about having set up once.
And trust me (not really....lol), kim: If you find and include even 1 (one) such method i'll happily join your club (even if i need to pay for that).
And just to let you guys know, i am into IM for well over last 4 years after doing my masters in business administrator and doing pretty good too.
So, it was just a suggestion (i'll keep adding more too). Hope you all profit from the efforts of Kim.
    Take Care, Kim.

just to have a nice plesant place which doesnt get spammed the hell out of so that we know that the information being presented by users is acurate and correct(I assumed there will be a community element to it, so users will have to provide real verifiable proof that their stuff is accurate before they can share it).

And from you Kim we all know your content is really good so keep it up but am interested to find out about split testing and not that A/B stuff, the hardcore hard to pronounce stuff lol.

Brainstorming sessions with other users could be really cool aswell so I guess that would be called brain sharing saturday lol

    Hey Kim,
    Here are my ideas:
    1. Short "how to" reports.
    2. Videos showing "what to do" in simple step-by-step format.
    3. Hot affiliate trends.
    4. CPA "how to".
    5. Upcoming affiliate launches.
    6. Specific affiliate "best practises".
    7. Short competitions that enable "on the job learning"
    8. Webinars (with replays for Non-US based members)
    9. Profile of Top Affiliates - what makes them successful.
    10. Specific resources for each task.
    11. Best traffic tips and resources.
    12. Regular updates regarding FTC/Google etc

That's all I can think of at the moment....
Wishing you all the best with the membership...

I think your membership setup should be making sure that each one of us is actually making income online. If not then the whole of the group should lend a hand. This way each one of us become more productive. There will be a reason to" Belong". An SAS band of brothers and sisters so to speak. Nothing is the problem. If I know how to help one of the members I will spend a bit of time assisting but I will need the same when I am " down". This is the only system that will prevail in my view. Hi Kim,

I would like to see more resources about how to correctly track, and analyze your PPC traffic...search, and content networks.

Your ROI depends greatly on your ability to track your keyword conversion so you can properly optimize your PPC campaigns.

Also it would be very helpful to have information on how to correctly split test your ads, and landing pages.

    testing...testing...testing

The more you test and optimize...the more money you make...you as an affiliate, and the merchant you are promoting.

    A win-win situation.

Tracking using a WP blog as your landing pages would be even better...because WP seems to be a big challenge to all the people providing tracking software.

I have been tearing my hair out for a week now trying to a handle on this.

On that note...I would like to share this tip (I just became aware of myself) about clickbank products.

You can now put Adwords, Google analytics, and Yahoo search conversion code on your CB products (that you're promoting) checkout page.

You used to have to contact the merchant, and have them place the code on their thank you page...not anymore.

Go into your 'account settings' tab and then click the
'integrated sales reporting' tab near the bottom of the page, and click the edit link (right-hand side).

    Then just follow the directions.

    I hope this helped!

    Hi Kim,

One of the biggest problems I run into with building my online business is overwhelm and knowing what to do next. Something that I would like to see inside of the Super Affiliate Club are mindmaps/process maps of the marketing and strategies you develop. I purchased your product Instant Payday Formula, and even though it's not a mind map, I discovered that type of format was really helpful in keeping me on track.

Maybe you can pick one key marketing/traffic strategy per month and fully map it out so that we can have a checklist for implementing the strategy.

I would love to see a site where the content and information has a tag that identifies it as - Newbie - Beginner - Advance - Expert categories.

It is frustrating to listen to a video or course that is either above or below your level of understanding. Or even one that "reinvents the wheel" to make it understandable to everyone. I have seen this with sites and members leave after a short time or when they cannot grow.

Of course you would need definitions of the levels but that should be relatively easy to establish.

I would like to see everything to get a newbie off the ground. What is an A to Z outline of what one needs to do and learn. What services are needed and what are the good free ones if any. How to write a killer review of a product that catches the visitor's attention RIGHT AWAY so that he can't help himself but BUY THE PRODUCT.
  • Hey Kim,

One thing that not many affiliate marketing courses is how to sustain your websites after you have 40+ of them. Like ways to continuously improve rankings, adding content, etc. when you have a huge list of sites you are working with.

It's pretty easy to keep it up if you have, say, under 5 sites. But as soon as you get into the 10+ region, that's where it starts to get a little messy.

    Thanks!

Hey I that's why you should only build sites where you can set and forget on autopilot stuff. That way you will never have to check up it everyday.

    Hi Kim,

I'd love to how you would tackle a niche is a step-by-step set of videos, from keyword research for "Buying Phrases) through to web-page construction and then traffic gathering techniques!

There are a lot of videos already available but it would cool to see your twist, especially with an emphasis on all important Traffic!

A weekly update would also be of immense help, especially concerning developments with things like the FTC and any changes Bing/Yahoo/Google make which could impact Internet Marketers.

It would also be fantastic to see how you plan out your working days to maximize on productivity and avoid distraction!

    All the best!

  • Especially I like to have content which is more of in step-to-step basis and to the point. And more of motivating content that show us that the road to super affiliate is not too difficult as all think.

For the club to be more successful there should be more of "from members" announces for spl competitons and weekly online meet/webinars.

And also monthly goals and JV's inside. And every week lots of surprises from you. :)

I will also appreciate if the content is divided into beginners, intermediate and advance basis with many exciting features. And many member driving crazy contests to keep the community alive and in fun go.
I would like to see more of traffic generating tricks from you as that what concerns most of the affiliate marketers.

The content should be more like of a practical and theory combined. And every week a webinar by some guest super affiliate. Q & A workshops.
Lot of push should be there on "LEARN BY DOING" concept throught the member's area.

The inside of super affiliate club should be more of member based as we all know " The most successful business online/offline is often made by PEOPLE"

    :)
